If just to sleep, okay stay

At the check in the lady was very friendly and helpful. But on another day we tried to order a drink at the bar and the man didn’t even looked at us. The cleaner was very friendly. Overall it was a good stay.

There was an oder in my first room and the front desk volunteered to move me to another room. sadly they were fully booked, but moved me the next morning, with smiles. it's always the small things, but this place is well organized: - shower door opens into shower, so no dripping on the floor - light switches are labeled correctly - in room safe works - door closer closes door all the way, so it is locked - hallways/common areas clean, well organized and useful the only negative was at 5am the morning I was leaving - only had warm water, not hot water. minor issue (different if only cold water) and perhaps I beat their hot water timer. If I return (immigration is a nightmare at the airport) I would stay at Swiio Hotel again and hope other locations are just as good

Hotel less than 5 mins walkable distance from the mrt station. Just opposite the famous Ximending shopping district. Hotel is clean, the lobby staff are helpful and polite. No complaints from me!

The location of this hotel was very go right in Ximending very convenience but the rooms cannot block the sound good we can able to hear people upstair walking around and next door talking all night long.

Overall good place to stay

Overall is good……good location, neat and clean environment. Could consider some signal at ground floor for client, it’s not really easy to locate the entrance. Staff could be more friendly.

First time in Taipei and Ximen area. The hotel is located in a building with multiple businesses and the entry can be hard to find but easy to find once you get there one time. The location is in a very busy area with lots of food and shopping nearby. Room size was decent and the AC was excellent. Bathroom was large but my shower leaked on the floor - seemed like the drain would not drain quickly enough. Bed and bedding are pretty comfortable. I was here for 6 nights and I wish there was more storage for clothing outside of drawer next to the bed. I asked for more hangers and the staff was able to give me more hangers at the front desk. The elevators can be tricky (one broke down briefly) and you have to share with other businesses in the building. My biggest issue is that I came back to my room with a friend of mine that lived with the city around 3:30PM on my last night and once we got into the room, I got a call from the front desk saying that they saw me come in with a guest and if he stays the night he would need to register at the desk. This just weirded me out because the lobby is on the 6th floor and my room is on the 5th. So not sure if they were watching me on a security camera or what....I don't have an issue registering a guest if they will stay the night but it was disturbing to be tracked by the hotel. The only other issue is that there is a lack of sound proofing in the hallways so you can hear people talking as they walk by.

The location was fabulous, basically in the middle of all the action, with the metro station a short walk away. Didn’t look like much from the outside, honestly we were slightly worried when we found the entrance with the elevator going up to the lobby. But it looked much more promising once we entered in elevator, which was newly upgraded and looked nothing like the outside. Staff were friendly and efficient. The room, beds and bathroom were well-sized, we found everything to be very clean. The tea station and bottles of water were a nice touch. Would stay again when visiting in the area again. :)

Had a terrible experience at Swiio. Bought and used a whole bottle of carpet deodorizer and multiple air fresheners but could not sleep through the stench. Air was thick and moldy. Could not tough it out and checked out early.

OK value hotel

Stayed for 1 night. It's in convenient location in Ximen. But you do need to walk a bit from green Ximen station exit 6. Keep in mind when you've luggage and trying to walk through sea of crowd. Room was small, not much room for luggage, no windows. Staff was friendly, bed was comfortable, shower was excellent, room was clean. Negative is room's soundproofing from surrounding noise was horrible, very BAD. We couldn't sleep well. There were random noise, voices, laughters heard from 12am - 4am.
