The location was great but obscure. There were many kinds of shops and many things to see around the area. The staff was mechanical in providing their services. There was renovation going on the 2nd floor but luckily, I was out most of the days. I booked a business double room and got a small cubicle for a bathroom. I had to shower sideways with the shower curtain sticking to my body. I had to upgrade my room which was much better. I will definitely come back to stay in the hotel but not in the 'Business' room. I had a great time there, all in all.

Overall good quality for the price. Excellent location, close to MRT. Clean and simple. Décoration starting to age and carpet floor not always the best with time. May not have some accessories like umbrella in case of rain... do not have 5 star expectation Do offer transfer to airport with good cars.

The air conditioner seems broken, after I stayed a week, it still had problem, I finally told hotel people, they found the problem and change the room for me. Also toilet seems had problem too, my husband had went down 7th floor used the public toilet.

The staff were amazing. Friendly, helpful and eager to please. The location was wonderful, easy for us to walk to many places and also near a MRT station. Our room was quite small, but it was manageable for the few days that we were there. Our biggest challenge was with the WIFI. The staff did try to come and help us, but it never worked (their attempt to help). When the WIFI was working, it was fantastic. Then suddenly, it wouldn't work. I do have meetings at times and this was a bit problematic. If we were only on vacation, this wouldn't have been a problem for me. Breakfast is just ok. Not bad, not great ~ filled our stomachs! Overall, for the price, it was a pretty good experience.

Location is awesome. Staff are very friendly and helpful, including the cleaning staff. I've stayed here several times before with good experiences, however this time the room I was given was smaller than previous times, it smelled very strongly of citronella, and there was a problem with huge flies the size of my thumb nail buzzing around the room. I killed at least four but they just kept respawning from who knows where. Breakfast wasn't very good, coffee machines were not adjusted right..etc...

the hotel is close to MRT and easy to find. near the shopping area of 忠孝东路. the Room is comprised of a bed and a toilet, toilet is half the size of the room not sure for what. and apparently the room is for handicapped customers because u can only sit down and shower, if you stand, only body parts below waistline can be cleaned. a small window above the bed just to make sure you know if its day time or night.

Good location close to train station
Within walking distance to train station and night market. Generally acceptable at US$60/night. Room was a bit cramp and without window. Water dripping sound on ceiling (probably) due to aircon. Toilet is clean and breakfast is decent.

Great stay
Really enjoyed this hotel. Service was helpful and polite. Wei provided thorough information about the area. He also upgraded our room because he noticed we were staying for 7 days and wanted us to be comfortable. Location was great - near shopping, nightlife, and MRT (most of Taipei might be like this.) And despite being near a busy road, our room was very quiet. Breakfast was huge! Items changed daily so it was always interesting. Things like buns, fruit, rice porridge, sides, toast, juice, coffee and cereal are offered. Only negative was there was a weird smell in our room, probably from the carpet. It was a bit old and stained. Like most Asian hotels we've stayed at, you need to use your key to turn the power on in the room. We opted to pay a 500nt$ refundable deposit to get a second key that we left in the room, so the room would stay cool. I would definitely stay here again.

It was OK.
My room smelt bad like there's water stuck for a long period of time. FYI, bed mattress is on the floor. No bed frame or bed feet. Staff were nice.

The RF hotel is located in a very good location close to a mrt on North and south, high end stores street, restaurants behind the hotel... it is a 2.5 or 3.0rate .. the breakfast is not my favourite food, I wish they had more western food, the room I had was comfortable and quite.. big screen t.v, the water .

It was ok. The breakfast is ok, but not great. The beds are VERY hard and takes getting is used to. The location is fantastic.

We stayed for 3 nights there, and we were quite happy with the hotel. The room was kind of small, but it looked very clean. The breakfast was very nice. I recommend this place to anyone who need a convenient place to stay in Taipei.
