The Suite that I booked was actually a room with balcony…. Bed positioning in the middle of the room was unexpected and not comfortable for me… I had to use a stool as nighttable. Room or “Suite” did not even have a shower stall and was forced to shower in a bathtub holding the shower head with 1 hand. Hotel wasn’t close to anything but they do have a shuttle service which was helpful. I had a lot of functionality issues with the light switches, layout plan, even the door lock….. front desk can’t even accept credit card for safety deposit and forced me to pay $1,000 cash. Overall, not a good experience and frustrated with the room design layout!!

Stayed one night. Wouldn't mind the location away from the main strip but next to Taipei's residential area. My room has a very good view toward Hengqin China. I do not like the layout of the reception and lobby. Need to walk a U turn to access the guest room elevators, passing through 3 to 4 retails, and seems no security. The interior design of the hotel is too much in motifs and patterns. Very dark design. The guest room is far from enough lights level and walls are in black color. Bathroom walls are in black marbles with relief patterns that looks like some kinds of ritual motifs. Bed side table/tops, work tops are too narrow that you can't put anything after the house phone, hotel's promotional leaflets, etc. Anyhow, bed, air conditioning, shower are good. Funny thing is, the hotel would hold your check-in room deposit for a month after checking out if you pay by credit card.
