"We were looking forward to staying for 5 nights in the quiet valley of Hermigua but found the hotel to be very noisy with poor soundproofing between rooms. "This is a beautiful, rustic hotel in a wonderful town in the mountains. It’s simple, but comfortable. The terrace is wonderful and I loved the many plants decorating each corner of the hotel. Make sure to have a working phone and ask for the owner’s phone number beforehand, in case you don’t find any instructions when you arrive. Everything worked perfectly for us, but several guests were locked out and we had to let them in and help them connect to the owner upon their arrival. Ask for a room on the ground floor if you have physical restrictions or difficulties climbing stairs."
