There was a problem with the expedia listing since it was not updated. The room I booked was not available anymore but the staff was very nice to accommodate us with another room that was available. The facility needs a bit of renovation though and our room needed some cleaning and TV was not operational. Still I am thankful that the staff was very nice.

Big family rooms at an affordable rate

The staff was excellent! However, overall, this 25 year old clubhouse turned bed and breakfast needs refurbishing. Toilet needs upgrade, bedframe needs repair, door locks need improvement.

The place was quite not the one we expected..the staff was definitely nice. But the room itself is the issue. The pillows seemed not changed at all as they still have hair on them. The bed sheet was so dusty and some hair on it. The mirror was very dirty and looked like it had some dried marks on it. I’m not sure what it was. The toilet was unclean too. We really didn’t expect what we saw. We have been to a lot of 3-star hotels/bed and breakfast but all seemed okay and clean (which is very important). But this one, Royale Tagaytay.. I’m very disappointed. I couldn’t even stay on the bed. I was literally sitting on the edge. I understand that the place is quite old.. But it is important to keep the place clean and hygienic.
