This is the only good option in the area. However the condition of the property is the only detractor. The carpeting in the hallways of the rooms is worn out. The tile in the bathrooms is cracked and the grout is falling out, gone and dirty. The pool area and lobby is in excellent condition but the rooms are falling apart and need to be updated.

The Summit Hotel was much livelier, and to be fair, we were only there for one night to visit family nearby. The location is very convenient — right across from the mall — and I wish we had more time to explore the mall and the restaurants. The room was a disappointment, but to be fair, I don’t have anything to compare it to as an American tourist. I tried to take a shower, but the water was very cold. I think you need to be patient and let it warm up. There was almost no water pressure — just a trickle — and there was only one towel, but again, keeping in mind we’re in a different country. There were plenty of staff on hand, and when I needed a shuttle to the airport, the front desk was very helpful and arranged it for me. They were professional and made the process easy.

Good cleaning, polite staff, good size rooms. Some room for improvement with room service system and shower setup. Room service recently converted to a digital system, but often missing menu items as meal times change. Had to call to get it fixed several times. Shower overhead is good, but handheld has low pressure and is mounted low.

Third Tim I stay there first time except second not as good third time I check in no bath towels in room had to call front desk 2 times to get towels. Got second bed brought in at 1000 pecoes a day second day they don’t clean room well did not make second be took bath towels did not give replacement third day had problems getting room done after many calls they finally came at 6:30 pm again no towels no bathroom tissue took the second bed that I payed 1000 pecoes a night for. Tiles coming off bottom of swimming pool and laying around all tiles around swimming pool loose and moving when walking on them making it unsafe

Staff are friendly and accommodating. Room needs improvement with cleaning. Needs regular changing of duvet, extra toilet paper and towel as well. Keycard access sometimes don’t work. Shower room necessities almost run out. Needs to improve service specially in checking in.It took me half an hour in line waiting just to check in. suggest to have online check in.

i have stayed here multiple times, overall it is an ok hotel, i will stay here on my next time in tacloban. All the staff are super excellent.

The staff were great the rm was a rm but the pool had sewage from a broken pipe as best as I can figure and I got that hotel due to the pool but the staff gave me an extra free day besides the 9 I paid for and think the could have done better but than again they were booked up

The hotel room wasn’t very clean. The on-site restaurant’s dinner was okay, and the breakfast buffet was good, though a bit pricey compared to other nearby options. The biggest plus is the mall right next door, and the hotel does offer on-site parking when a space is available.
