We chose a room in the castle.The hotel is in impeccable condition since it has been recently renovated.The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is beautiful surrounded by forested hills

lovely stay, in beautiful grounds. Rooms and facilities are excellent too. Great base for exploring Bükk mountains, hiking, cycling and exploring caves. Felt totally relaxed after stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Keep an eye out at night for owls, bats and deer in grounds, if you like nature! :) Would love to return again.

Bon hôtel pour une escapade Wellness en Hongrie
Accueil froid et impoli. Chambres sous combles à éviter absolument (fenêtre toutes petites, chambres minuscules, chaleur...). Centre wellness avec Hamman qui ne fonctionnait pas. Literie très dure. Tout est écrit et indiqué en Hongrois, très peu de personnels parlent anglais (aucun le français). Réceptionniste très désagréable. Lendemain d'un mariage à notre arrivée: personnes quittant l'hôtel dans es tenues indécentes. Certains clients d'une grossièreté et d'une allure indigne d'un pareil lieu. Entretien de l'hôtel qui commence à se dégrader, à peine un an après sa mise en service (carrelages piscine, peinture qui cloque, lampes HS).

Lage am Büker Nationalpark
Gute Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Radfahren, Reiten (grosses Lipizanergestüt). Der Aufenthalt im Hotel mit der schönen Parkanlage hat uns sehr gefallen .

Comment parfaire son séjour à Szilvasvarad!
Cet hôtel 4 étoiles mérite vraiment son classement, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas... Le cadre est très agréable, nous avons été bien accueillies (avec un effort du concierge pour s'exprimer en français). L'espace de bien-être (piscines ultra propres avec large vue sur l'espace vert, saunas et hammam, même des lits de jardin pour se reposer) est un de leur plus grand atout! Ce fut l'occasion d'une réelle détente dont nous avions bien besoin après 2 semaines de visite en Hongrie. Le dîner et petit déjeuner ont aussi été excellents!! Si je retourne un jour à Szilvasvarad pour un des spectacles équestres, pour sûr je retournerai à la Contessa Castel Hotel!
