Also it’s uniquely located in America’s (6th largest mall is what I was told, but definitely the biggest mall I have ever seen). You could also purchase all sorts of regional small farm to table food. Very cool!

When traveling with family a hotel like Residence Inn is exactly what we like. There is plenty of room and the 2 room suites are excellent. Will be staying here when in the area again!

I think overall the property was nice. There were a few issues. I guess when we booked it, we had no idea that this was like a motel type of situation or anybody could access your door from the outside. This was not expected at all. The only other issues is that the Wi-Fi was very weak in the bedroom. If you don’t mind more of a motel fuel versus an all enclosed space, this might not be the place for you. That being said, the staff was nice and the breakfast was decent.

Easy on and off highway. Mostly clean. Rooms not ready at check-in time, but with a later check-out and earlier check-in time, they seem to have set themselves up to disappoint customers. Due to rush to clean rooms, many tabletops in our room were visibly not cleaned thoroughly. Breakfast was okay. Very confortable sleep in comfy beds and quiet room.

Extremely disappointed that I checked in on Wednesday, checked out on Sunday not once was my room service by the hotel. At night on my floor, it was noisy with people running back-and-forth. The breakfast service in the morning was very nice.

I stayed 5 nights. After check-in, I noticed there were rooms with easier access then our room. I asked staff at the desk about availability. She graciously reassigned us another room with similiar access. It was handicapped accessible. Room was large to accommodate scooter. Staff was so helpful.

Syracuse visit to SU

The suite was a great size with 4 people staying together. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with essential items. The bathroom (shower/tub/toilet) was very small but met our needs. The sink outside the bathroom helped. A bathroom attached to each bedroom was very convenient and private. The breakfast was good. And parking was convenient. The outside of the building was a little run down. And the pool was closed.

Wish we would have known the pool and hot tub were no longer in service. First room key did not work. And the hotel’s phone number is not in service so I could not call ahead to verify anything. Finding out no pool and hot tub we may have reset our stay to another location. But it is clean here and quiet.

This was fine for a basic stay. My room was clean but had a slight stale cigarette odor. Sheets were kind of scratchy. Bed itself was comfortable, and I liked the huge bathroom sink area and the kitchenette was well equipped. The rooms enter off an exterior corridor and its noisy. There's a wood burning fireplace in the room, which was kind of weird, and the damper was noisy when it was windy. Breakfast was fine except the coffee was the worst I've ever had.

Not Marriott’s best work

The hotel is old, and it feels old. The ceilings are very low which makes it feel small, even though it isn’t actually small. The 3 people we interacted with on site were all very friendly. Cleanliness is a bit of an issue. The air intake above the bathroom door is covered in dust. There were hairs in the bathtub and next to the sink and the hallway needed to be vacuumed. Also, the air conditioning didn’t cool at all. We actually switched rooms, but the second room was barely better. Also the mattress was sinking in the middle, so it was like we were laying on a hill all night and did not sleep because of it. There were no bugs at all anywhere though, and it was quiet.

The room was great - two bedrooms, two bathrooms and clean and warm. Everything worked great and the front desk staff were very helpful. Breakfast was nice and well stocked. During Christmas there was no room service, but it was nice to let the staff have the days off or reduced hours. I highly recommend this hotel.
