We were given another building and apartment a few days prior to the date Building was disgusting. Very poor to cancel our booking a few days out to another building where it was disgusting! To top off we paid the same money!!

Friendly, helpful service at reception who kindly gave us an upgrade when we arrived which we were so grateful for. The apartments have everything you need to make your stay comfortable (we are a family of 4 with a toddler and baby) and easy and most of all we had a fantastic view of manly beach that was beautiful to wake up to every morning. We will be back

Great location

We choose this property having selected number of occupants and closely studying the photos as we wanted a large balcony with ocean views. Having checked in and being very disappointed with Unit 5 and 8 we spoke to the management team onsite . We were informed that the pictures are a mix of all the available units and none of the 2 bedrooms have ocean frontage. The units are tired with very grubby carpets. The kitchen equipment is minimal. Linens and towels were fine but no beach towels. The location is great but we weren’t impressed overall. We finished our stay at Quest serviced apartments near the ferry terminal and we’re very pleased with these

Bait and switch - Renter beware! You're on your own once you book this property....

We were so excited to be spending a holiday weekend in Manly, in what was presented as a beautiful with incredible views of the ocean. We arrived after 5 pm and were directed to the "after hours" check-in process, which was simple enough. We were a little puzzled when we approached the door to our room as it was not on the ocean side of the building. Upon entering the room, it was confirmed. Our room did not face the ocean, but instead faced the back alley of the building and the view was dominated by a semi-solid structure intended to shield the view into the room from the neighbors. Obviously we were very disappointed. I immediately reached out via the VRBO app and the welcome email I received. To this day, 2 weeks later, I have yet to get a response to either. The next morning, I immediately went to the front desk to see if there was some sort of mistake. The woman tending the desk explained that she was merely the weekend attendant and was limited in what she could do. Furthermore, the building was completely booked, so even if she wanted to she could not put me into a different room. She took down my information and assured me that the property manager would contact me. Likewise, she confirmed that my outreach from the evening prior was received. Okay, understood. The next day, I still had not heard from anyone. I again checked with the attendant at the desk. She confirmed that the property manager was aware of my situation and would be reaching out to me. I again confirmed that she had my contact info as we would be checking out the following morning prior to their opening. She said they did, even read it back to me. Monday morning - no contact. Two weeks since - no contact. Utterly disappointing experience. The listing mentioned multiple units in the building, but the description and the pictures all represent that they are ocean view. No where does it mention the "back alley" view that we had. We weren't even comfortable sitting in the living room nor the porch as we had no privacy. If I wanted to stay in a rental like this, I would have chosen one. Instead, I paid what I believe to be a premium for what was advertised. Very disappointing experience and a very poor example of customer service.
