Beautiful property, inside and out, well located in Swellendam. Owners Nicky and Wim are kind and very helpful. Breakfast was terrific, room was excellent, and there is a pool on-site with lovely views. Highly recommend!

Des hôtes exceptionnels !

Nicky et Wim ont un très grand sens de l'accueil, un vrai bonheur des personnes aussi adorables. L'endroit est très facile à trouver, il est bien situé dans un quartier calme. Nous avons apprécié la quiétude des lieux, le beau jardin fleuri avec beaucoup d'oiseaux, joli piscine, pelouse agréable sous le pied; quant à la chambre (green) elle était très mignonne avec son plafond à "l'africaine", décorée avec goût et une bonne literie, petit déjeuner parfait : en bref tout simplement le bonheur !

Really nice place. So clean and well maintained. Unfortunately we stayed only one night. Would have loved to stay longer. The owners are very welcoming and really happy to help. Breakfast is also great

Wim und Nicky haben eine wundervolle Unterkunft in dem schönen und eher ruhigen Ort Swellendam. Der Garten der Anlage ist wunderschön und die Aussicht beim Frühstück und am Pool mit den malerischen Bergen ist unschlagbar. Die Zimmer sind jeweils in einem eigenen Thema eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Für jeden Gast steht ein schattiger und gesicherter Parkplatz auf dem Gelände zur Verfügung. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben!

Room with a View.

We loved our short stay in Babette and felt welcome and valued from our arrival to our departure. Our superb room overlooked the spectacular mountains and the beautiful garden, which had an inviting pool and loungers for guests. We were given valuable advice on things to do and see in the area and dined in a superb local restaurant in the evening. In the morning we were treated to a fabulous breakfast, served on the terrace. We loved Babette and would love to return and spend a longer time in Swellendam.

Sehr schönes Guesthouse

Sehr schönes Guesthouse, mit ganz tollen Hosts. Im Garten ein schöner Pool. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Vom Guesthouse kann man zu Fuß diverse Restaurants erreichen.

Very good B and B

Our room in the garden was very attractive and well equipped with coffee making facilities, refrigerator with well-priced drinks, and comfortable bed. The gardens are beautifully laid out and have a large pool. There is ample parking. The owners are charming and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The accomodation is near several good restaurants and the museum. Overall this was a very good B and B - the only minor drawback was a lack of curtains or blinds on two of the higher windows which meant it was very bright in the morning and, as we are light sleepers, we were wakened earlier than was ideal.

Sehr hübsches B&B in Zentrumsnähe

Vom Check-In bis zum Check-out hat man sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert. Wim & Nicky sind super liebe Gastgeber, die für Ihr Gäste die extra Meile gehen. Das B&B selbst ist ein kleines Paradies in Swellendam. Hier fehlt es an nichts. Leider waren wir nur zum Stop-Over da, wären gerne länger geblieben.
