"The only problem was we tried to check in at 1:30 pm after a seven hour drive. The front desk person told us that there would be a $30 extra charge to check in early for a hotel that was mostly empty. I can understand if we were trying to get in the room in morning but an hour and a half early is ridiculous. Technically you don’t get a full day anyway with check in at 3 and check out at 11. Sometimes a small exception isn’t such a bad thing to keep you coming back. Thank you."

"Based on the reviews, I booked this hotel on my way to NM; and they were right. The hotel is surprisingly nice, starting by the reception staff; the room was clean and well kept. Breakfast is the classic combination of coffee, cereals, bread and muffins, plus a waffle maker, and it works just fine. In comparison with others hotels under the same Econo Lodge franchise, this is certainly a gem and I would definitely recommend it."

"Stay was ok. The carpet needs to be steam cleaned. You have to bring your soiled towels downstairs in order to receive fresh towels. Little inconvenient. Staff not too friendly but good for a day or two stay."

"This was our second time staying at this hotel. We stayed here last year in July while visiting family in Kingston. The staff is pleasant. Quick check-in, quick checkout. The room was clean. Nothing fancy, but we didn’t need anything spectacular. No smoking in the room, but they were very quick to tell us that It was fine to smoke outside. I do think they need to have the signs that go on your door saying that you don’t need service. They came by our room on the last full day we were there and we told them we didn’t need anything when they knocked. When we came back later that evening, our bed was made, so somebody had gone in the room. Nothing was taken, but we already said we didn’t need anything, so we really would’ve preferred them not go in the room while we were away. If we had a sign, we could’ve put that on the door. I know some hotels have that. I would stay here again. We only paid like $70 a night and it was very reasonable considering the accommodations. We had a mini fridge in the room and a microwave. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast, but if I remember from last year, it wasn’t a full hot breakfast, which is what we would’ve wanted."
