"Check in was nice and easy & Staff where very helpful. The locations unmatched being placed in one of the most beautiful places in the uk. 2 minutes walk over to Studland beach and the nature reserve and just 5 minutes drive to Swanage and Corfe castle. Inside the hotel is a quiet lounge, Mini cinema room, Library, games room and nice leisure facilities. It is very much family friendly and dog friendly also so expect lots of children and pets walking about, All well behaved and not a reason to put you off staying here if youre looking for somewhere beautiful and quiet to stay. Would recommend staying atleast 2 nights to take full advantage of the facilities and surroundings. "

"Loved the rooms. Bright, airy, clean, well equipped and spacious. Could do with a few more USB points. The area is lovely and has plenty of parking. Unfortunately the ongoing building site (hospital) is a bit unsightly. Not the properties fault. Staff are fantastic, helpful, empathetic and go the extra mile. Massive thumbs up for staff. We only had breakfast on this occasion. Only negative to breakfast is that it is not made clear that if you can’t find something, you need only ask staff and they will help. Overall the hotel is lovely. Could do with a few water fountains for refilling water bottles."

"Beach view was good although from a small window at the top of the building. The room had been recently refurbished and was a really good size. The young man in reception was very welcoming and friendly. A good stay for a very reasonable price. Shower base needs some attention . "

"Clean rooms and staff were very helpful. The spa and bar were lovely. The only thing was that the level 8 sky bar was not open, even though I was told that it was open on a Friday, we were looking forward to it. Also although there was a slice of moldy bread found, the supervisor was very apologetic and removed the container which it was in. Our stay was very nice. "

"To spent our last night in Swanage we transferred from our B&B up to the Purbeck. Ideal location for walkers and location to town and beach . We liked having a lounge and bar for the evening . Bed was comfortable and bathroom standard. Loved looking around the old architecture and period interior detail , a very pleasant stay. "
