Property is in good condition in the centre of town and 5 minutes walk from the beach. Room had air-conditioning and DSTV. Staff are knowledgeable about the area and activities. Wifi very good.

The hotel is centrally located and very convenient. The staff are friendly and communicate well. However the rooms we stayed in lacked sound proofing and sound from the neighbouring rooms and car park can easily disturb guests. Providing remote controls for the gate would be more convenient and would stop guests from hooting.

Gutes Hotel unweit des Atlantiks

Das Hotel liegt etwa 300m vom Atlantik entfernt. Die Autos stehen sicher auf dem Hotelgrundstück hinter einem Rolltor. Die Zimmer waren sehr groß und gut ausgestattet.

Inexpensive convenient hotel

The hotel is well located for visiting Swakopmund & the surrounding area. Quiet facing the courtyard at the back although plumbing is noisy. Staff were helpful. Good value. .

Friendly, well positioned and clean!

I visited Namibia Swakopmund and surrounds with my mother. We both enjoyed our stay at Prost Hotel a lot. From the friendly service, the cleanliness of the hotel to the wonder breakfast spread are all reasons why we aren't already planning our next trip to Namibia Swakopmund where we would love to stay at Prost Hotel again.

Excellent for the price

Clean, comfortable, attractive room for N$550, which is a lot less than the higher-end places in town. The location is good; very central with the beach and most of the good restaurants and grocers right near by. A good variety of hot and cold dishes at breakfast. A few minor complaints: the room advertised as 'with view' in fact looked out on a well-traveled sidewalk at ground-floor level -- so anyone walking by had a view into our bedroom unless we kept the heavy curtains closed; noise from the hallway was somehow amplified, and fellow guests were not considerate about indoor voices; and the breakfast room acoustics likewise amplified sound, and fellow guests talked pretty loudly and often carried on conversations with friends two tables away. Not a peaceful experience, but the food was good. Overall, I recommend it unless you are sensitive to noise.

The room was very clean However there was no aircondtioner in room and I had to ask for heater Breakfast was a little disappointing as it looked most unappetizing The room did not have a "city view" as indicated on the Web Site. Noisy from car parking No "block out " curtaining for windows- light comes into room from parking area.

Zentrales & modernes Hotel In Swakopmund

Buchung für Standardzimmer (3 Nächte) hotelseitig verlustig gegangen, dafür kostenfreies Upgrade für Komfortzimmer erhalten. Noch mal gut gegangen, hätte aber in Hochsaison ganz schief gehen können. Gutes Frühstück mit Hot Breakfast Auswahl. Sehr freundliches und sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Zimmer ruhig an Nebenstrasse gelegen, schnell in Downtown und "Beach" zu Fuß (nie bedroht gefühlt) Einziger Nachteil: Parken am und nicht im Hotel (alles (!) aus dem Auto räumen).

Tulimme Intercape-bussilla Swakopmundiin ja hotelli sijaitsi kaupungin keskustassa. Hotelli on suhteellisen uusi ja siksi huone oli siisti ja tyylikäs. Henkilökunta todella mukavaa ja auttavaista. Aamiaisella kokki valmistaa kananmunaamiaisen ja itse voi ottaa muroja yms. Hotellilta on lyhyt kävelymatka rantaan, jossa sijaitsee hyviä ruokaravintoloita.

A good base for walking around Swakopmund downtown

Prost was quite nice place to spend 5 days in Swakopmund - just couple blocks away from main beach and close to shops and restaurants. We got a room on backyard; no view, but were able to drive car next to the room. Also heard that a popular club can be loud to street side rooms, but no noise for us. Only minus was the missing fridge.

Das alte Hotel mit anderem Namen wurde gut renoviert, die Zimmer sind fast klinisch aber einfach nur gut und sauber. Ein bisschen vom alten Charme ist geblieben. Lage und Service sind top.
