「We had a delightful two nights. Paulo and Julia were great hosts. A lovely couple with so much knowledge and great ideas for sightseeing. Our room had an amazing view of the fjord and was very comfortable. Breakfast included home baked waffles and cake! Dinner included fresh pasta! We highly recommend staying here for the authentic experience! 」

「The hotel host was very friendly and provided us with a very warm welcome. The room is clean and tidy. The 3 courses dinner there tasted very good and definitely worth the money. The only disadvantage would be the noise problem in room though ear plugs are provided.」

「This is an absolutely stunning B&B down to every detail. The owners and staff were helpful and it’s a perfect location if you want to take the ferry to the Urnes Stave Church(the oldest of the remaining Stave churches) which is beautiful and well worth the trip. Breakfast was great too. The downsides are: 1) sharing bathrooms; 2) tiny rooms; and 3) no close restaurants for dinner so eat first in the neighboring town.」

「Clean cabin however the WiFi did not work in the cabin. You have to purchase both the bed sheets and the towels in a bundle and cannot purchase just one. This was not clearly written in the description. Also you had to buy a token to take a 5 min shower which I was not aware of based on the description. 」

「Such an historic beautiful old hotel in Solvorn, Norway for our last stay before leaving the country. We just so happened to arrive the evening of the biggest storm in the last 25 years and our room was right in front of the ferry/dock to see all the action. As we arrived later in the day we were too exhausted to dine there so they brought us nice sandwiches and champagne upon arrival too.」
