Pudong2 nights4.0 star property9.0/10 - Wonderful (10 reviews)"The hotel is very nice. However, the experience was let down by some of the staff. On arrival, the bell boy was most helpful with unloading our bags. However, the reception lady was clueless. Even though she quickly found my prepaid booking in the system, she went through screen after screen, clicking away merrily without explaining what she was doing. There were two other staff who walked by from time to time, looked over her shoulder and then walked away. A queue of guests behind us grew..."Reviewed October 31, 2026Roundtrip • Taipei (TPE) - Shanghai (PVG)TPE - PVG • Nonstop SHA - TPE • 1 stopNT$21,562NT$15,536found 1 day agoper traveler - Hidden Garden International Youth Hostel - Oriental Pearl & Lujiazui

The worst was a constant smell of sewage coming up from bathroom and sink. The last day the smell got so bad i felt nauseous, there were even flies that i guess came up from the sewage. The room doesn't remotely worth the price."Reviewed November 23, 2025Roundtrip • Taipei (TPE) - Shanghai (PVG)TPE - PVG • Nonstop SHA - TPE • 1 stopNT$13,360NT$11,543found 22 hours agoper traveler - Shanghai Fangwai Resort & Homestay

"Super convenient location, 100m walk to train station and foods street. Room is big, quiet and very clean."
"The property was very good, nice clean and modern, but the location is bit busy and entry to the hotel is blocked by cars. not very easy to get inside the hotel. Uber dropped us on the street and walking into was a bit difficult with maneuvering suitcases through parked cars. Location is not quiet, but has transportation options."
