Absolutely lovely place to stay. Close to many amazing hikes and glacier tours, and the morning breakfast was a perfect cherry on top. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
This is a top notch experience! Great glamping sites, nice bathrooms and showers, hot tub is awesome. Firepit and hang out area with s'mores available plus hot drinks. A real breakfast is served too! Loved this place!
This was a truly unique experience. Hot tub was great, however, length of warm water in the shower after was lacking. The mattress was a disappointment, (wish it was a mattress and not just foam) Breakfast was good and the help was super friendly.
The view was tremendous and the beer was flowing.
An absolute delight. A perfect and peaceful haven with spectacular views, warm and friendly staff, great hot tub, treats and snacks, a community environment- many of the guests were repeat visits and I will definitely come back again as well!! Perfect!!
Great place to do luxury camping with amazong veiws of mountains and glacier. Very close to the glacier if you are looking to do glacier climbing. It can get pretty cold and there are no heaters so pack accordingly.
The facilities exceeded our expectations. KUDOS TO one of the employee's, ElLIZABETH, who cheerfully greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. The grounds were clean and manicured, the tents were spacious, beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets. There was a covered common area with tables, board games, a keg of beer (pay for beer via honor system!), corn hole, fire pit, hot tub, and hot showers. If this were my campground, I would not change a thing. So why a four star rating? I have to admit meeting the owners brought the entire vibe to a standstill. They came to the common area in the afternoon while my wife and I were playing cornhole. After a few minutes, I approached them thinking they were other guests and they were very stand offish. I gave them a great compliment on their place and their response was less than enthusiastic. They were there for nearly 1/2 hour and ignored us the entire time. At that point we felt as though we were an intrusion on their space and not valued guests. This is not how guests should be made to feel. Thankfully, Elizabeth was a perfect host and even sat with us the next morning on her day off during the provided breakfast. Overall, we would recommend Alpenglow Luxury Camping to others. It was a great place. The best tent for glacier view is called the Knik. Maybe the owner's were just having a bad day.
