Checking in experience was bad. Staff told me I couldn’t check in telling me to come back at 2pm and when I ask another time stating I booked through Expedia they then ask for my name. And was able to check in.
Key card kept giving me issue. For the days I was there. I was able to access the lift to my floor and when unlocking the door I could not. I had to go back down to get the card changed.
Room wasn’t bright enough.
Room was not as clean as expected.
Amenities wasn’t as complete as other hotels I stayed.

Excellent and good value
Love the premium bedding and linen. Very comfortable. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Good security too. Would definitely book this hotel when I come back to Surabaya.

Coming from Australia, the price of this high-end hotel is unbeatable. It is also relatively cheap and easy to hire a taxi from the hotel. Taxis are waiting in front of the hotel. The facility itself is great but I could see signs of ageing in particular in the bathroom which was still stellar at the time of stay. Hospitality of the staff is exceptional. It is a 4-star hotel so the breakfast is certainly nice but not impressive.

Hotel is nice. I booked it for my overseas guest.
The hotel is nice but the service is almost terrible if I have to say. We checked in around 9 pm and the rooms are not ready. The staff kept asking if the rooms are ready through HT radio. The rooms were supposed to be ready because checked in time was at 2 pm and we checked in at 9 pm. It is very inconvenient because they have computers but they don't know if the rooms is ready and kept asking many other staff if the rooms is ready and available.
My guests were very tired from a long flight and have to wait for their rooms for a long time.
From 3 more minutes wait to 30 minutes wait.

good hotel for family trip
Good location, many good restaurants around. Restaurants on third level is very good. Not expensive stay but you get big room, comfortable bed and good lobby area.
The downside is the towel has weird smell, breakfast is only passable, and bathroom has some lingering damp smell. Also, the carpet has shown its age and has some marks to it.
Overall, it is a good 4 star hotel with reasonable price but i would not purchase the breakfast next time.
