"Great place. Well managed. Nice bedroom. Friendly staff. Gorgeous breakfast and dinning experiences."

"Horrible experience. Rooms are very old, queen mattress was in reality two filthy twin mattresses put together with a division in the middle. Bathroom om had sewage smell. Furniture in the room is too basic and inconvenient. Room door was falling apart. The don’t give you beach towels. The will clean your room only once every three days."

"I made reservations for two "Standard Apartment (Smart Piscina)" rooms for my family (5 people). At check in they provided what it looked like regular documents with several parragraphs in three languages and they made me sign a couple of them in portuguese as check in staff didnt speak other language so I believed was not an issue having myself stayed in different countries and hotels where had faced the same situation (never had a problem). In the process it was never explained anything related to their right (?) to change my room at their will nor was provided any specific date of any potential room change. A couple of days after when we where about to leave the hotel in a taxi to go to the closest town because we had a tourist trip reservation to a nearby beach, I realized I had a lost phone call through whatsapp (at 11am) from an unknown number. Thats where the nightmare began. They told me that I had to leave my room inmediatley because the "shared time owner" had arrived (?). I replied that I was never told about such a change and that even if I accepted that would have to be after we come back from the tour. They where furious and in a very rough way three people arrived and later on the Manager On Duty who even requested the guards to not allow us to leave the hotel. Whole family was in shock. As I didnt want to expose them to something else I finally moved to a different room. This kind of reactions & lack of judgment is unnaceptable. Worst situation ever lived. "

"Summary: Good location, great staff, good value. Pros: Good location close to the beach and 30 minute walk to grocery shopping and restaurants. Good breakfast. Cheaper than most. Great service overall. Renato at the front desk speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Very helpful. Room A/C works but will take some time initially. Cons: Room is small. 2 people max. Bed is hard. Thin mattress. Water in toilet is light brown. Maybe rust. I didn't drink the tap water. Dinner in restaurant was overcooked, both times, but tasted okay. Notes: Electricity is 220V. Shower temperature control takes practice. Do not disturb sign was blown off handle by wind every day. I stayed in the building closer to the beach. Ignore dogs outside. Don't try to pet them. They ignore you."

"Despite a check-in issue related to the transfer of guest information, I would still like to leave an excellent review for the apartment itself. The management company should be more efficient when transferring guest information to the condominium concierge. Our reservation was made on Friday for a Sunday check-in. On the day of arrival, around midday, we were contacted requesting guest details, which I promptly provided. However, when we arrived at the condominium around 3:30 p.m., our information had still not been transferred, and we were required to wait outside, under the hot sun, with children, after a long drive. As this is not a hotel with a front desk, the management company could also improve the experience by offering a list of local activities and tours to help guests better enjoy the area. That said, the apartment itself is beautiful, very clean, well equipped, and tastefully decorated. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and the owners deserve congratulations for their attention to detail. Although the beach directly in front of the building is not among the best in the region, this does not detract from the comfort of the apartment. Overall, the apartment is charming and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our stay and intend to return."
