La Sciara Resort Hotel

"The room was clean and basic. Good aircon.The pool was lovely with a view of Stromboli smoking away! Breakfast was a large cold buffet with lots of cold cut choices and sweet cakes/ pastries. Nice to sit outside on the terrace for breakfast. Lunch is optional from the pool bar, mainly pasta/ salad or panini choice , seating covered in shade by the hanging plants.we walked from the ferry in about 20mins, little moterbike taxis also available from hotel."

"We had an absolutely lovely room overlooking the sea and Strombolicchio, with a private outdoor deck under flowering vines. The amenities are a bit rustic but everything is clean, breakfast is tasty and staff are very welcoming. It was easy to book a shuttle from the port ferry, which turned out to be a golf cart like most vehicles on the island. There is a private beach with clean, safe swimming. The pool, we did not try because it costs extra and you have to wear a bathing cap. We deeply enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend."

"J’ai adoré cet établissement ainsi que son emplacement. La vue sur Stromboli depuis ma chambre était tout simplement extraordinaire, et le petit-déjeuner était excellent. Mon seul bémol est qu’il aurait été apprécié d’être informé qu’après une certaine heure en soirée, l’entrée principale est verrouillée et qu’il faut accéder à l’hôtel par l’arrière. Nous sommes restés coincés devant l’hôtel pendant un bon moment avant de réussir, grâce à WhatsApp, à joindre quelqu’un qui nous a finalement expliqué la procédure."

"We arrived at the property a bit tired as we got lost (don’t use Google Maps) and Angela made us feel right at home and offered us an espresso. She showed us the room and described breakfast. The B&B is on the edge of town and has a beautiful view especially when you sit on the roof. You can even see Stromboli in the distance. The room was of a nice size and even had a mini fridge. It was very clean as well. Angela made the morning breakfasts very special even including homemade delicacies. We had a selection of yogurt, fruit, pastries, coffee, juice and cakes. It was as if we had our very own Italian Nonna for the duration of our stay. High recommend! What a gem! "
