The hostess is very kind and welcoming. She has paid such attention to each detail. It was great to feel at home on such an old sheep farm and to feed the animals. Being able to paddle with the platypuses in the rivulet was most delightful of all. A restful stay at Rathmore.

Not a hotel, but a great home stay experience

We stayed for one night and took dinner and breakfast. It is a great home stay sharing travelling stories with other guests and learning about heritage of the farm. We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away.
