were also great. One drawback is that I did not like the fact that it was hard to walk from the hotel into the town. There was no sidewalk and so I felt a bit hemmed in. The hotel did a wonderful job, however, providing transportation to the Borromean Islands and there was a shuttle into the town of Stresa. "

"Really lovely family hotel set just back from the main promenade in Stresa. Beautiful gardens and a really well kept and well run hotel. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. The pool area is secluded and very well managed. Our room was perfect, with a large terrace that had views of the lake and was bathed in sunshine for most of the day. Perfect!"
