"The Northern Lights Lodge was a very clean, fun place to stay! They had an indoor & outdoor pool. The indoor pool was heated. They also had direct Tv which was nice as we had our kids, so it was nice as they had a ton of movies to choose from. They have breakfast which is served from 7am-9am, but it's unique how you choose from a menu and tell them what you want. They call the room number when your breakfast is ready. Pretty neat! The food was very good too!
They also have a river behind the hotel, which was nice to walk down and explore! They are located right down the road from a horseback riding/bike/walking path which was great to get the kids to release some energy!
I do have to say the pillows there were terrible! Ugh, I mean i know everyone has their own comfort level, but these were very stiff. The mattress was firm, but comfy...it was just the pillows i was not a fan of. That is my only complaint.
They also have a hot tub (For adults only) and a sauna which was nice and relaxing. Oh and let's not forget about the game room, vending machine, and laundry too! It's 10 mins. away from all the fun things downtown (which you have to drive, but it's worth it!)"
