I wasn’t expecting a lot here but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was nice, it was clean. We used the free bikes and road on the recreation path. The location was great. We were outside of town but close to a lot of dining options. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed our stay! The stag was very kind and helpful upon check in and check out. Though not in the part of old town Stowe, we preferred the accessibility to everything else in the area including restaurants and shops. The room was spacious, clean with free and easy parking. The shower was hot but did go back and forth between hot and cold a few times. We’ll stay again if we’re ever back on the area!

We found this hotel to be a gem. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were fairly large, clean and with new, clean furnishings. They offered bicycles for the rec trail and ease of getting around Stowe.

The Friend desk staff were so friendly and helpful, and the hot tub was such a wonderful touch after a cold, rainy day of hiking. It would be awesome if the rooms offered an actual coffee maker, even a basic one, instead of just instant coffee. But that is my only complaint that isn’t really a complaint.
