Wonderful and affordable place to stay in Stowe. My room was beautiful and very clean! I used the sauna, hot tub and pool and again everytjong was clean and workimg. Will stay here again.

There are so many things to say and not enough characters available. The inn is clean and the price was fine given the busy weekend before the eclipse. The front desk staff who checked us in was condescending, recommending we make plans for backup plans because of how many people were in town. I plan ahead, I don't need the 'helpful' tone. There's a complete no smoking policy. They insinuated if you smoke in your vehicle while on the property and someone sees, then smokes in their room because 'they were smoking in their car', you would be subject to a $250 fine. No designated area on the property, you would have to step off (onto the street) to smoke. There's no front desk attendant after 10p and a number to call for emergencies. The heat in our room was not adjustable and it was 78 degrees all night. The a/c didn't work either and there were doors, not windows, so opening them wouldn't have been safe. Heat being an inconvenience and not an emergency we didn't call the number. We also ran out of hot water for the shower and reported that to the front desk in the morning. The response was "oh, it must be because everyone is showering this morning." Sounds like the hot water system needs an upgrade. The place also has very thin walls; we could hear the upstairs guests snoring all night. Between the attitude, the thermostat issues, and the lack of hot water, definitely not a place we'd stay at again.

Great location between the stowe village and the slopes with free shuttle just in front of the building. Spatious rooms and condos with all needed appliances for a few days.

Thank you for the input. As we try to accommodate our guest with early check-ins, our standard check-in time is 4 pm. It is our goal to ensure rooms are available by this time, but it can fluctuate based on overall hotel demands. We are unsure what was advertised for you on Expedia's website for rooms, as we do not control them, but I am certain our 2 Queen with a fireplace was comfortable and certainly worth the 1-night stay with us. Great place! The room was bigger than expected, super clean and had a second exit. All around great place to stay for a great price.

We really enjoyed our stay, but the hot tub was broken which was a bummer because it was one of the main reasons I chose this place! Overall, cute little quiet place.

The parking lot was a sheet of ice. It would be good to salt it in the future. We almost slipped several times

Last minute booking. Hotel is directly central to skiing and food area. Pool was clean. Hit tub was working and Suana was great.

Loved it all. Wish jacuzzi tub was hotter and jets worked. Maybe a time requirement for families so everyone has an opportunity to use the facilities.

Grey Fox Inn
Room was warm and cozy with a dual fireplace in the bathroom and bedroom. Beautiful view. It rained for most of our visit so that was bad. Only negative about the Inn was that they didn’t leave enough tolite or tissue paper. I called the desk and they did come right away. The front desk was friendly and courteous . Great place to stay for skiing in Stowe. Convenient to restaurants and it has a great walking trail.

The Inn was off the main road and close to a few places to eat and shop. The only downside was our room was up one set of stairs. But the room was great, very quiet, and was just as the photos. The indoor pool was clean and overall we had a good time visiting.

Rooms were very spacious and clean. We got upgraded to a 2 bed condo after only paying for a basic room. Very friendly staff and the room upgrade made our stay!! Would defiantly visit again. Very close to downtown and walkable to a few restaurants.

The pool and hot tub looked nice and clean. Pool was pretty cold but hot tub temp was good. Room was clean and seemed recently updated. Weird layout, small sitting room, bathroom to walkthrough to the small bedroom. Bed was really soft but go the job done. Fireplace did not work. Overall, good place to stay, was convenient to the music we were there to see.

The rooms were very clean and cozy. The bath tub was awesome- did not know it would be a soaking tub! The property and walking path was a lot of fun with our 3 & 5 year olds. We would Definitely stay again.

I felt the property wasn’t all that well maintained. It honestly looked deserted. The room itself was beautiful and we would definitely stay there again. Would have liked a better view. Being one of only a few guests I’m not sure why we were put in a corner bottom floor room with very little view.

This was one of our favorite places to stay in Stowe. The property is beautiful and the rooms are exceptionally clean. The only issue we had was the lady at the front desk was really rude and unprofessional but other than that the stay was great.

Super convenient to downtown Stowe. Older but clean. Pool and hot tub very clean. In does not have any amenities. No food or coffee. Thankfully there is a Very good coffee shop bakery next door, The Stowe Bee. Many good eating places close by.

I loved this little Inn! The premises were so cozy, my bed so comfortable! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. After I left the Inn to continue my travels, I thought I had left my electronics behind. I called and Chris, the staff member, was truly concerned and they immediately looked to see if they could find it. As it turns out, I found it in my belongings.But I really appreciate their concern and followup! I would definitely return if in the area again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
