「It is an adequate hotel if staying near Washburn. 」

「The nightstands and dresser were a little dated, but everything was VERY clean. The staff was incredibly helpful and the bartender was amazing in both his knowledge of libations and general conversation. Breakfast was good too! We slept soundly in our comfortable beds and I will recommend to family and friends when they come to Topeka.」

「My credit card was charged despite prepaying. In reviewing the folio emailed to me after checkout, they charged taxes which were already paid and documented as such on my initial booking receipt. There were no incidentals charged to the room, just a billing error on their part. 「Our room was great! However, the hot tub water was green with brown ring around tub! The room was clean and nice! But they definitely need to fix this place up! Front doors of hotel left open day and night! Needs a paint job badly and fixing up! The complimentary breakfast was not very good! Limited choices! We booked for hot tub, if we would have known it was in this shape would have went elsewhere, but we couldn’t get a refund for room! This is not up to a Marriott standard hotel!」

「There were only two luggage carts and neither was available when we were leaving. I don’t know why so many hotels have this problem. Are carts that expensive? I travel a great deal and it’s the first thing that I look for because I have two heavy suitcases and a cart makes a big difference」

「The hotel is going through renovations so the lobby area was a little disorganized with building materials around and also in the parking lot. Room was fantastic and has been upgraded and well designed. No carpet a very big +. All the staff were very pleasant and professional. I would most definitely stay there again and recommend to others.」

「Breakfast was less than average and very expensive for counter service. Don't call it granola if all you do is break up a commercial granola bar. Oatmeal was poorly cooked and unexplainably expensive. Shower, on the other hand, was outstanding, but hallway inside room is too narrow to bring the luggage cart in. Also lighting in bathroom and sleep area is very weak and not useful. 」

「I didn't even get to stay there and I told Expedia one of my money back because I got there early and they let me check in early and when the manager came in at 11:00 I got to straighten out with her but then that owner come in and she was super rude and at 9:00 when I come back from the grocery store she told me I couldn't get a room key and I needed to pay for another day and called the Topeka Police and the escorted me off the property Total disappointment still waiting on my refund from...
