「Location is/was perfect for what we were looking for, along our Colorado road trip. It’s an old motel, refurbished— they could have done a few things to make it feel a little nicer/upgraded, but you don’t want to be lazy in your hotel room in a place like Steamboat Springs, anyway :-)」

「Check in was slow. The facility was very old, rustic is a good way to describe it (it looked better online than what it was). Soda cans and other garbage was still standing in the foyer from the afternoon before, and worst of all, the previous guests used towels were still hung up behind the bathroom door! As there was never anyone at the front desk, we just threw them on the floor by the sink area. Thankfully, we were only there one night.」

「Bugs in the room, smelled like smoke, and generally a gross experience. I would not recommend nor do I understand how anyone would rate this more than a 1 or 2 on a 10 point scale. So gross.」

「Wonderful, quaint spot right in the heart of downtown Steamboat. Not a 5-star boutique hotel by any means but what a pleasant delight upon arrival. We got the junior family suite or whatever they call it; had a queen bed in one room then a Jack and Jill style bathroom connecting the room to 2 twin beds. Perfect for a family of 4! Great to have designated parking, staff was 10/10, Clear, concise communication. I’d definitely stay at the Bristol again.」
