A Beautiful Historic Inn
The Inn was exceptional. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The pastries and fruit delicious and the wine and cheese so fun! I will absolutely return to such a beautiful inn and town!

Overall, this was a great place to stay, we would highly recommend it. We try to go to new places, but if we ever wanted to go back to Stonington, we would stay here again. The staff there are really nice and helpful, complementary breakfast and their wine and cheese tasting was wonderful. Honestly there are really only two "complaints" we could come up with, but they shouldn't deter you from staying. 1. There was no fridge in our room. While they supposedly let you store alcohol in their bar fridge, it would have been nice to have a fridge located in the room for convenience. 2. Their parking lot is shared with the Breakwater restaurant. While they do provide parking cones to reserve spots, they are mostly a joke because people just move the reserved cones and steal your spot anyway.

Quiet and relaxing. I liked that it wasn’t far from Mystic or Mohegan Sun. Enjoyed the wine and cheese hour.

A Wonderful Experience
One of the best places we have ever stayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the Inn atmosphere was one of relaxed elegance and the location was perfect. We started out with a view of sunset over the harbor from the back veranda and nothing disappointed after that. The continental breakfast was filled with homemade pastries and the evening wine and cheese welcome was excellent. We liked it so well that we ended up staying a second night.

The Inn at Stonington is a lovely and welcoming place. The room was large and so many wonderful touches made it so comfortable- nice chairs for relaxing, a soaking tub and separate standup shower, a sweet little balcony and lovely linens on the comfortable bed. The staff is friendly and helpful.

A beautiful inn located in downtown Stonington on the water. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. There is a wine and cheese gathering in the afternoon and a "continental" breakfast that offers a large variety of items to choose from. The staff is extremely helpful and willing to accommodate all guests.

An Absolute GEM!
We have been lucky to do a fair amount of traveling and have been lucky enough to stay at some wonderful places in the area, throughout the country, Hawaii and internationally. I would like to tell you that our experience at the Inn is on an equal footing with The Mayflower and the Winvian just in CT. The setting is fabulous, the room (we were in #14) incredibly well appointed, comfortable, spacious. the staff, what can I say about them that doesn't seem like I'm gushing...ok, let me gush...from the moment I called to check on where I might see the Yankee game for opening day to the moment we checked out, each and every one of the folks was warm, smiling, and more importantly, genuinely interested in what we wanted, and how best they could help. Even a minor kerfuffle became a moment of laughter. We went out on Friday morning, and I left the "service please" on the door knob just to let the staff know that we were gone so they could do what they needed to do without waiting or wondering if they'd disturb us. Well, apparently the sign blew off the knob so the desk called my cell instead of either (a) not doing anything or (b) knocking on a door where no one was...a small thought but a major example of how tuned in to the guests the staff is... Great Breakfast, very relaxing Wine and Cheese in the afternoon. Beautiful setting and wonderful people!!

Charming Inn - Historic Village
The staff was quite accommodating as we arrived late in the evening and we were one of a few guests on snowy night. Very charming place. Only complaint is the TV was small and had issues with operating the cable and remote. Very nice breakfast and the town is special. Would definitely stay here again and can recommend room #7.

R&R - a great time to recover!
We've been able to visit multiple times and our stay was just as fabulous as before. The Inn at Stonington is just one of those very special B&Bs, in a very special locale. Only issue is the WiFi (free), but not fast enough. Also, most restaurants were closed on 1/1 (and the rest of the week).

Perfect romantic getaway
Loved this hidden gem! Perfect location for a weekend wine tasting. Breakfast was a healthy-sized continental type in a very cozy space. Wine and cheese socials every evening! Jacuzzi tub and fireplace in the room is amazing. Bed was comfortable as well. Staff friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We will def be back!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Inn. Our room and common spaces were very comfortable. We also liked its location as we were able to walk to restaurants, shops, parks and kayaking! Continental breakfast was generous and delicious! We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely hotel close to the ocean
Very welcoming reception and lovely room. The hotel looks over the harbour and is close to some good restaurants. Cheese and wine is served each evening which was a very nice touch. Great position for exploring this part of the coast and Mystic Seaport.

It's located close to the beach and the lighthouse, as well as only 20 min drive from Mystic Seaport and Aquarium. The rooms were cozy and our room had an awesome bathtub. Super recommended!

Our trip was a quick romantic stop and our room was beautiful. The town of Stonington is lovely and we found plenty of things to do in the short period of time that we were there. The only complaint that I have is that the included breakfast was a continental breakfast and I would have expected a hot breakfast for the price paid for the room.

One word says it all: FABULOUS
The Inn envelops you in luxury from the moment you arrive. Tasteful decor, the very best linens, unbeatable views and staff ready to fulfill your every need. Don't go here unless you want to be totally spoiled & cosseted. It's glorious.
