"The staff is nice. Virginian Motel is under new management. The staff knows me because I was here for 4 days before, and I was here one more time before then, and that was since my birthday in November of last year. The staff is kind, the property is good, the cleanliness and fantastic, the amenities are nice, I just wish there were outlets next to the bed to plug phone chargers in, and I wish there was a mini refrigerator to put things that need to be cold in, like certain medications, and beverages and such, otherwise fantastic! I definitely recommend staying at Virginian Motel!"
"Room in poor condition. Bed spread was stained, pillows were very old. Bathroom door had all sorts of stain and dirt drips. Toilet and tub was stained. Didn’t look like the floor had been swept or mopped, visible dirt behind the bathroom door, lotion dispenser filthy. This hotel needs a total remodel. "
"Worse hotel I ever stayed at - woman on duty was 1st night alone, didn't even know when free breakfast was, my response was 6am to maybe.....9'. Room smelled of cigarette smoke, table lamp was unplugged i had to move table to plug it in, hotel phone was unplugged-no idea where outlet was to plug it in, wifi was crappy, inconsistant, ask if they had cream for coffee stated that they only have milk. towels had stains on them. walked into lobby and had high counter, was looking for coffee creamer -- had to tip toe and saw girl sitting down - she never looked up when I came in, she was reading or something - she was the one who responded to the creamer question. only 2 tables in lobby for breakfast which is where breakfast is 'served' items were prepackaged blueberry muffins, 2 types of cereal, about 1/4 gal of milk, 2 things of yogurt, waffles not much of a selection whatso ever. paint job/patching jobs in room done by amatuers, no bureau but had 'one' drawer, no closet to hang clothes, temp control in fridge missing. Staff was non existent, parking and AC was fine."
"This place is run down and very low end. It’s cheap for a reason, but in this case it isn’t even worth the $60 a night. I’d rather be camping outside. Our room smelled like a wet dog, the shower barely worked, the cold water side of the sink faucet didn’t work, the wall mounted heater was really loud. The sheets looked clean, so there’s that. You weren’t expecting this to be the Bellagio, but it’s barely a functional motel. "
"I use a wheelchair. The parking was close and made it easier for me. The room was spacious. I was happy to see that the bed was a regular height not high like the trend now in many hotels."
