Overall, it was fine. No major issues, but I have stayed in many Hiltons in my time, and it just felt slightly underwhelming to have the Hilton brand associated to this hotel.
The check-in was really poor, and I do not blame the front desk staff directly, but whoever is responsible for staffing should be embarrassed. It took between 50 minutes to an hour to get our keys to our room.
Breakfast was fab, and the staff on the whole were friendly, but again, I have been to Hiltons where the service came with a smile, and things were never too much fuss. Here, at times, it felt like we were putting people out, when asking a question.
