Reception staff are accommodating and friendly. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant next door was like a Cobb & Co, a big range but mass produced. The bar area is comfortable with friendly helpful staff. Only issue was the smoke stop door that thumps every time someone enters the hallway. Were woken every time this occurred. A wee bit of road noise due to location but not unusual for a hotel/motel.

The hotel was about a 1-hour walking distance from the center, but there are plenty of bus stops, including right outside the hotel. It is also about a 10-minute walk to a shopping center with a supermarket and a McDonald's. The bed was comfortable, and all the amenities were functioning.

Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant was great for dinner and a game of pool had had a playground outside that the kids enjoyed. Breakfast was good. A lot of garbage around the outdoor property surrounding hotel, parking lot and outdoor eating/ playground area.

It was ok. Not a lot of value for the money, but this is the norm in Scotland. Visitors from North America may find it lacking certain expected features such as a fridge and coffee pot. The restaurant was not great - very run down and many menu items were unavailable.

The room was clean and the bed was cozy and fluffy. The hallway was dusty and dirty and needed vacuuming. The office staff was delightful. The location was hard to find since it sits behind a restaurant, don’t trust Google Maps on this one. I had to stop at a local petrol station for directions. Breakfast was the typical Scottish menu. Parking was great!
