"VERY POORLY MAINTAINED AND SERVICED BY STAFF... missing bath towels / wash cloths, tissue, cutlery, plates, glasses, kitchen towels, kitchen cleaning supplies, night stand, etc... - no TV listing guide in unit... once requested, we received a copy... useless - TV not set up properly... had to reprogram and update the TV software in order to use - Areas of unit dirty... table top, refrigerator, etc - dangerous mess of wires behind microwave... had to choose which appliances to use and plug them in accordingly - ice bucket filthy / no liner - clock radio hidden in the one only night stand / not plugged in - poor breakfast time - 5:30 to 8:30 on a Sunday! - dirty towel behind bathroom door - phone hanging loosely on the wall by the bed above the missing nightstand - desk clerk N/A when booking in, another guest said he was NEVER at the desk - phoned to get service from desk clerk... apparently he was cleaning a room somewhere - phoned a few times to get help resolving issues / missing items... made to feel like we were inconveniencing the desk clerk - morning desk clerk was more "interested" and did note and pass along our concerns, but was very clear she was only there for Breakfast and could not assist further. - Note: reasonably prompt response from manager and we were assured the issues would be resolved and invited us back. Very disappointing experience... we've been in worse hotels, but this was clearly the worst staff effort / standards that we've ever encountered."

"Hotel was very easy to find, it’s centre, close to everything (gas station, restaurants, fast food places & there’s even a liquor store across the street), receptionist was friendly but professional (although she seemed like she was on another call while checking me in), she helped me changed to a different room when I asked. The room itself seemed clean enough but my initial room (403) smelled like it was previously a smoking room so I asked to changed, this was dealt with quickly but the new room (411) still smelled like smoke so I just gave up and sprayed my perfume all over the room to help with the smell, good thing I was really tired and just slept. Next day, woke up to shower found out, shower has no curtains but I was already ready to shower so again I just didn’t want to deal with anyone (i literally just woke up lol) I just showered and of course the water sprayed all over but I tried my best to use all the towels they have in the bathroom and went about my day. The breakfast that’s included in the room surprised me, even though it was small, the hot breakfast was eggs, sausage and pancakes, it was delicious! They have other stuff too like toast, bagels, cereal and oranges and apples. Overall was good stay but due to the smell in the rooms not sure I’d stay here for more than one night, just good for overnight stay."

"Room was ok, although the door sometimes wouldn’t open due to the frame being out of whack. The ice machine on our floor was in about 10 pieces on the floor in a pile. It said it had a pool but it has been closed so no swim for the kids. The caulking around the tub was black and needs to be replaced. Lots of parking, decent breakfast. Won’t be back."

"Easy and very friendly check-in. Beds were super comfy and room was very clean. The only downside is that the breakfast is not a 'hot' breakfast. There is no meat or eggs, and the waffles are prepackaged for the toaster. The breakfast was great for a continental breakfast, just don't come expecting eggs, sausage or hash browns."

"Absolutely fabulous staff!! Clean rooms, and amenities. Very nice breakfast with a good selection. We were extremely impressed with the whole stay. The only disappointment was the Cafe was not open. (Perhaps let management know, to remove this off the website). Still.....I give you a 5+* rating. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience. Darcy Kraft."
