"Wow what a hotel!! Our favourite place we have ever stayed in the world. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to assist us with whatever we required. "The rooms are a bit run down with bathroom facilities and lighting that are still in the 70s. The hotel says has a wellness center with pool, but this is an overstatement. The pool is maybe 10 mt long, the sauna is ok, the changing room is something between a storage room and a doctor's. the restaurant is ok, but nothing special with the waiting staff that could be more friendly "

"Friendly and helpful staff at a nice hotel in a quiet corner of the Black Forest. Dining was very good, and while the breakfast was not elaborate it was tasty and staff kept the buffet stocked even during a morning rush. All in all a good value."

"Started unexpected as the reception closed early, but all possible help was afforded to us to make us comfortable. The big surprise was the room which was far better than expected, and the breakfast the following day which was absolutely delicious, both hot and cold choices. A real gem of a hotel"

A Gem in the Black Forest

"Very nice hotel in the Black Forest. We had a balcony, which was nice since it was raining. We could still sit outside. Excellent breakfast. Nice indoor and outdoor pools, but the weather wasn't swimming weather when we were there so we couldn't try it. "
