「Lovey hotel with great scenery and I would high recommend. Only slight negative was reception staff would have an attitude and ignore guest when walking in.」

「We chose The Market Tavern because of it's location - it is in the same village where our son, daughter-in-law and new grandson live and we were visiting. The whole property has been tastefully renovated and is lovely. We had eaten in the pub before but not stayed. Bampton is a quaint village with plenty of amenities and is well placed for visiting lots of interesting places. Breakfast was good with cold and cooked choices. Staff were friendly and attentive. We would stay again 」

「What a great find! Visiting the area for a gig & decided to have 2 nights away. The Great House was a last minute booking but what a wonderful place! Idylic riverside setting in a small village with lovely bar & restaurant. Staff were all very friendly, from the lady who greeted us at reception & upgraded our room to the fabulous housekeeping - the lady with the ted hair deserves a special mention as we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her!!! 「This is a lovely place. The staff are amazing. We were there for our wedding anniversary and we were looked after very well. Food is lovely, Hotel room is a little old but in keeping with the area. This is not a complaint. It really was lovely. We would stay again 100%. 」

「Where do we start? Fabulous. We were very impressed with the staff. Alina was professional, polite and could not do enough to ensure our stay was what we had wanted and expected. When we arrived (during one of the hottest days this year) the fan in our room did not seem to work. We went down to report the issue at 5pm then never thought anymore as we went for dinner. Upon our return a beautiful, brand new, large fan was waiting. They had rushed out and managed to find one, which was amazing. ...
