"Love this little quaint hotel in St. Petersburg with such a rich history. Everything was great including the continental breakfast. The only issue we had during our stay on the balcony was locking the main door with the security latch and going out the balcony doors that we couldn’t open from the outside due to the over painted door handle, it wouldn’t turn to open the door. "We found this gem! The Cordova Inn. A historic hotel (1920's) nestled in defiance, among the new and modern St. Pete structures. This stay was extra special. Among its charm and quaint atmosphere, we were transported to old Florida. Do not expect the amenities of a big hotel chain, a plus for me! "The furniture looked and felt like old Good Will vintage. The bed was uncomfortable. What looked to be a sofa cushion was blocked by railings and couldn’t be used. The shower was a trickle of water. The pool that appears in the picture was dirty and blocked by fencing. The outdoor furniture was old, dirty and uncomfortable. The food was of poor quality. The excellence award at the front entrance is not applicable. The housekeeper was pleasant and helpful."
