Hollywood Casino & Hotel St. Louis

Hollywood Casino & Hotel St. Louis

8/10 Good
"Convenient location near St Charles and we preferred gambling at the Hollywood Casino. Room linens and bedding was clean. Mattress was okay, pillows very nice, enough towels for the first night, but floors were dirty in the room and corners could be mopped. The toilet was running and we reported to the front desk. Refrigerator had a build up of ice so we defrosted it on day one and were able to use it for our drinks and leftovers on day two. I felt very safe there and even went outside to walk in the middle of the night for some fresh air. Staff is friendly and helpful. I liked the variety of restaurants and the coffee shop right there next to the casino. I would stay there again."

The Cheshire

The Cheshire

8/10 Good
"Charming and quaint alternative to a Holiday Inn. It was renovated 10-15 years ago but not much care since then. The pool was allegedly open still (mid September) but when we looked out to go use it, there was debris in it and it wasn’t very inviting. The price was affordable and it was pet friendly, I only wish we could have experienced it during its heyday years ago when it was properly maintained and cleaned."
