Nice stay in St Lucia

It was a quick overnight stay, but the location was close to all the key spots in St Lucia

Good lodge in a good position. Unfortunately a bit noisy because of the parking lot just in front of the rooms and the main road in front of the entrance. The pool is cozy although is almost impossible to stretch out on a deck chair for sunbathing. Wi-fi very weak

Noisy, dingy and disappointing

We checked out a day early it was so bad. Signs up saying we expect people to keep noise to a minimum - neither enforced nor anyone available to deal with an outside singing party. Walls so thin we thought the baby next door was in our room. DIngy furnishings, cold water shower. Awful place

very good price quality

I feel I stay in a high class hotel. I don't understand why their was so much bad reviews. Room is nice, huge and confortable. Swimming pool, terrace, BBQ. It was quiet, just in the center in front of a supermarket. Just the staff has difficulties to handle my last minute reservation.

Not for me.... It's a motel!

The hotel... more motel, is noisy! The rooms are all close together and the outside chill area and parking is right by the rooms. I couldn't sleep all night with rowdy people in the hotel. The windows dont shut to block or any noise. The rooms were damp with visible mould. The shower water just went everywhere except the body, wasting a lot, and flooding the bathroom. There is zero ventilation in the bathroom, leaving everything constantly musty. No window or extractor fan. It's just weird and oddly designed. The bed is like the worst, with scratchy polyester sheets and lumpy pillows. The decor was very nice, and the kitchen was decent.

Nice hotel and our room had a nice little patio!

On the main strip this hotel allowed us easy access to variety of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. The pool was a bit small but very pretty.

My family really enjoyed spending the weekend in St. Lucia but my stay at Shonalanga was not rosy because of room condition. Room needs painting, and just basic cleaning. My wife who has a dust allergy suffered during the first night. Bathroom door on the other bedroom could only be opened from outside, imagine when you are alone in the room.

although room was a budget room it could have been much cleaner .there was a musty odor in the room and ventilation was bad > staff needed to maintain a cleaner envirnomnet.
