Joseph the host was attentive and gave clear instructions of check in etc. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. Super dog friendly too. The staff at the Seadog pub were brilliant. We even had dinner and drinks there, such a nice pub. If you’re staying in Hastings definitely book yourself in here.」

「We enjoyed our one night stay in this historic pub, with free off street parking. Battle is a wonderful village full of history and we really enjoyed the evening exploring the town and enjoying the vista. The hotel is small, old and quaint. The room was small,but comfortable with a private bathroom with shower,along with complimentary tea and coffee. Would recommend this Inn for exploring this historic area of East Sussex.」

「Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.」
