The staff was very friendly and helpful! I had hoped for an early check in and they were able to accommodate which was a bonus. Hotel is a bit dated but charming and rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Ideal location with lots of restaurants, pubs and shopping within walking distance. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The building had a lot of historical information and was a part of the history of St. John’s, so that was quite interesting. But I found that the bed was too hard and awoke hurting. People were very friendly though. The continental breakfast was adequate and quite good a little busy though, but that’s I guess is to be expected.

Charming restored property convenient to shopping, dining, The Rooms museum and Signal Hill. Our accommodation was lovely, full of character and quite roomy. My only complaint is that noise from outside and other rooms was occasionally loud, even late at night.

Fantastic location on the harbourfront, walking distance to downtown. The historic building is full of charm, and my room was clean and comfortable. Loved the courtyard for a quick dinner, a drink, and local entertainment—the fish and chips were excellent. Friendly staff and on-site parking made the stay even better.

What a great hotel it is right downtown across from the harbour. We found the hotel to be exceptional with regards to customers and cheating their guests like they were family. It will be my go to hotel in St. John’s going forward.

Have stayed here in the past and definitely recommend. Staff are lovely and helpful, convenient location and easy parking. Close to everything in and around St John’s, great value for the money :)

Great location on the waterfront. Ample parking (free permit from front desk). Old character warehouse and room was on the large side, large bathroom with an interesting walk-in (and walk-up!) shower. Room was a bit hot (heat wave) and air conditioning was a little weak/lacking. We tried so hard to get two beds but they were either out or it didn’t exist, which was unfortunate. Good continental breakfast.

The motel was within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The staff were excellent providing us with parking vouchers and complimentary drinks. The room was clean and charming. I was disappointed in the options available at the continental breakfast.

J’ai apprécié d’avoir un personnel sur mesure J’ai moins apprécié d’avoir des pseudos remises de 50% sur les cocktails (by one get two) et qui en fin de compte sont insignifiantes car 2 cocktails 24$ après remise 50% c’est bizarre. Je n’ai même pas essayé les 15% de remise VIP tellement le résultat était insignifiant et suis directement parti ailleurs pour manger.

Lovely luxurious boutique hotel with unique room on the harbourfront in downtown St John's. Convenient location to dining, shopping, entertainment, courtyard etc. Would definitely recommend!
