Great place to stay and only a short walk to downtown. Room was very nice and had a mini fridge and microwave. I only wish I could pick the room and what view the window had when booking. My room had a window facing a brick wall. Not the best view.

Idealy located close to downtown, this Victorian Period Home is just like an English Upscale Guesthouse. It was clean and comfortable. The Parking was right outside and we were given a parking pass. That was very handy. We enjoyed our stay. The staff member I met was Haris he was very helpful. Many Thanks

Fabulous location in an historic building with view of the downtown harbour. No parking but staff provided a permit for on-road parking which worked well. Slight smell of cooking in main public areas. Air conditioning was a bit iffy, but then St John's is not a tropical destination so all was fine.

The bed and bedding were great. No coffee pot. A kettle with instant coffee. The bathroom mirror was up too high for my wife to see more than her eyes! She’s 5’2”. She used the bedroom mirror with the blow dryer. The rest was good and clean. Close to everything!

A/C was fine. Parking was fine. A bit more detail required in cleaning standards. The caretaker was very responsive to all of our needs.

The room was spacious and comfortable with useful amenities. Access was easy and we never had cause to contact any staff. Parking on the street was difficult to find, but the location was central and we could walk to most places.

La chambre était propre, on avait celle avec vue du port et fleuve c’était super. Près du centre-ville donc facile à pied mais faut penser qu’en revenant ça monte beaucoup. On a apprécié qu’il y avait café, bouilloire et micro-ondes.

Everything was excellent about our stay and the room was great. I will give a mixed review about location as it’s excellent for walking and seeing St. John’s but it is next door to a park with several sketchy people hanging out nightly. We were okay with it but others might be less comfortable. Thanks for the stay.

We enjoyed this inn. There was an envelope there when we arrived with our name on it, so getting in was easy. There only problem we had in our room was that the air conditioner wasn’t enough to cool the room. They did have 2 fans as well. I’m not sure if the air conditioner wasn’t working properly or just wasn’t big enough for the space.

Parking passes not given drove around for an hr trying to park car ended up in a far away area not secure. Found out later they were in a drawer at end of hallway the day we were leaving 😡 Phoned caretaker when we got there he never answered so people age 75 had to carry heavy suitcases up 2 flights of stairs

The Abba was in a fantastic location but with the St Johns parking and no air conditioning it needs some improvements. Hopefully they can due some upgrades and improve the experience

Not a good location. No parking pass and the caretaker did not respond to message left. Stairs for seniors unsafe. Bathtub extremely unsafe, no safety bars and very slippery. Amenities were very poor as well. Towels not refreshed. Also, very hard to find. We were not impressed.
