The Tamarind is a quiet hideaway in the bustle of Cruz Bay. Cutest patio with bar and great food ( thank you Chef Isaac) friendly staff and lovely amenities(beach day items to borrow, towels, ice, water refills etc). Home away from home

Perfect home base in Cruz Bay! Staff were great, restaurant was very good and well-priced, rooms were simple and had everything we needed. The free off-street parking is a huge bonus if you have a rental car. Can’t be happier with our weeklong stay.

Great place to stay with the feel of “old St John”. Not France but very comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and accommodating and the food was very good in spite of dealing with several power outages.

Ideal location and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are basic but clean and a real bargain for St. John. The courtyard is lovely and a nice place to sit and have a drink and/or relax. Appreciated the free use of snorkels, fins, etc. I would definitely stay here again.

First time in St. John. The room we rented was perfect for our stay: clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Simple and just the speed we were looking for. I liked the convenience of the restaurant/bar on site and appreciated the complimentary rum punch :-) Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful.
