Excellent value at a Family operated Hotel
The Huron Inn s a really good value for the money, and is literally steps away from the passenger ferries which go to Mackinac Island. The room had a faint "old hotel musty smell" but was large, clean, and had a view of the lake. Very friendly greeting at check-in, and always enjoy supporting a family run hotel.

Basic but clean
Very basic motel, but it was close by what we needed. Nice walk into town mostly along the boardwalk. Staff were friendly. Room was clean, but did have a musty odor.
Nice hotel close to boat docks. Tv's need upgradin
Very resonably priced. Not delux in anyway but we could leave the car right there and walk to the boat dock for the ferry to the island. Staff was very friendly, coffee was provided and everything worked well.
Stayed overnight with my girls prior to heading to the island. Room was adequate, beds comfy, room was clean. Had a mini fridge and a microwave, didn't expect that for the room price. Location was great. Owners were very friendly and responsive to needs. Would stay again.
We have stayed at other places in St Ignace previously and this was an excellent deal for the price. The room was clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the water pressure was good.
We stayed there before and I'm sure we will again. It's a good spot for the price. Not fancy but clean and affordable. We don't spend much time in the room anyway.. a good spot to sleep and shower!
The owners were accommodating. We didn't get there until after the office closed so we just set Everything up ahead of time and had no trouble. Would recommend a mattress pad/cover for bed... It was pretty hard but it was extremely clean. Smelled good but it was quite dated. We were only there for less than 8 hours but was perfectly comfortable for what we needed.
We arrived very late in the night and we found that everything was arranged. The room is clean and nice. The price is great . We broke the handle of the bathroom, because it was a little stiff and fragile, but the lady owner was very understanding. I definitely recommend it for everyone.
Great price, friendly staff, and decent amentices for a mom and pop type motel. For those looking for cheap but expecting the Holiday Day Inn or Hilton remeber luxury comes at a price. My family enjoyed this clean quiet motel. Microwave, refrigerator, satellite, and full shower/tub combo. Only wish was bed had more support.
The room was clean, beds were comfortable. It is an older motel, but seemed to be well taken care of. About the only thing I didn't like was that there weren't any electrical plugs in the bathroom so I could use my hairdryer in front of the mirror. There also wasn't an accessible plug (that I could see) that would allow me to use my hairdryer in front of the dresser/desk mirror. The only plug I saw was a power strip on behind/to the side of the tv, which was too far away for my electrical cord.
The front desk service was excellence. We were looking for an affordable hotel, and this fit exactly what we were looking for. Rooms are very simply, but practical. Would definitely stay there again.
Needed a one night stay on our way from Lower Michigan to Upper Michigan. Was clean and comfortable. Good place for us to sleep before traveling on.

Hotel updates required
My stay i would consider ok, hotel is bery old, still has old style box TV's, cable selection of channels was terrible, none of the national channels, ie NBC, ABC, CBS, remote didn't work. Bed was ok with the exception of the curtains on the window were so old, had holes in them had to keep a cloths pin on at the opening to keep them closed. Curtains were paper thin, as soon as the sun came up, you were awake. Riom was very clean though, just so outdated furniture. Would not recommend to anyone. Sure glad rate was liw, but now i see why.

Nice older motel
Mom and pop, small, older motel. but clean, at a good price
Nice surprise upon checking in that price was lower than when I booked it online. Unfortunate strong urine smell throughout room when heat was turned up. We are good problem solvers, so aired out the room by running the AC, opening windows, and then it was tolerable for the night. Carpeting probably needs to be cleaned - I imagine someone/something actually had peed in the room some place, which is hard to clean. We have been landlords and so understand how frustrating that can be.

Huron Inn Motel-Close To The Lake
Motel close to the lake. It was ok-nothing fancy (older facility); but had everything we needed for a 1 night stay, it was clean and had comfy bed, desk with at least 3 chairs in room, newer fridge and micro. If you need to use desk you may want to bring a small lamp.Very cheap reasonable price though. They also have coffee in the morning.

Room needs a lot of work. Bathroom linoleum needs replacing, some nails popping through. Tub area needs re caulking. Carpet and curtains need replacing. Holes in curtains and blankets.
Owner was very pleasant.
