A wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful one night stay. The room had everything we needed including complimentary water. It was a fabulous location with a 5 minute walk to the football stadium to watch the England game which was ideal for us. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice to fill you up for the day - various meats, yoghurts, boiled & scrambled eggs, cereals, fresh fruit & fresh bread along with juices & hot drinks. The staff were all very friendly & efficient. Nothing was too much trouble including a request for a fan for the night. The following day we were able to leave our luggage at reception to look around the shops at the arena shopping centre. My only minor criticism is I would have liked some tea/coffee making facilities in the room. But this in no way spoilt what was an excellent stay.

Modern hotel near St Gallen

Finding the entrance of the hotel was a bit difficult, so make sure to get directions. There is outside parking and garage. The rooms are in one building and reception/bar/breakfast in a small side building. The room was very spacious, modern, clean and nice. Comfy bed, good work desk. I asked to pay when I checked in, but was told ’tomorrow’. When loading up the luggage in car the next day (taking the elevator down from room) I was chased down by staff asking if I was not going to pay! Of couse I was, just taking luggage down first! Very unpleasant feeling! Other than that, nice hotel, good breakfast, comfy bed.

Enjoyable stay

Best hotel in the area, walking distance to a shopping mall and easy access to the motorway. Room was serviced daily to a very high standard I will definitely stay here again. The only critism I have is there was not enough hot food at breakfast which was pricey.

Great option for Kybunpark

Stayed here after a match at Kybunpark. 5 mins walk from stadium so a great option for that. Front desk staff very friendly, quick and easy check in. Room was very nice, very high ceilings with full length window give it a very airy feel. The window has an outer shutter which can be controlled from switches in the room meaning you can close it up over night and still get the fresh air without worrying about leaving the window wide open! Is a couple of miles south of St Gallen, if coming on train its a quick walk from Winkeln station. Lot of restaurants etc within a few mins walk. Definitely will come back it I'm in St Gallen again
