Yotel London City

"Staff were very approachable and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and tidy. We had the premium double room with city view.. very nice view of st Paul's cathedral and the shard. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in this room but there is a fridge; you know this going in so not a problem. It is a small room with a tv but the bed can sit upright as well using a remote so saves space. The toilet and shower are surrounded by frosted glass so you can see the outlines of what your partner is doing but cant actually see anything. I can see from reviews this has bothered people but it's not a big deal if you are comfortable with your partner (as you should be). The hotel was cheaper than a premier inn closer to the family we were visiting so you benefit in that respect. You can get a cup of tea or coffee at reception for a small cost. Breakfast was delicious and there was lots of choice. The bar serves delicious cocktails and all of the staff were very friendly. Less than 10 minute walk to farringdon station and the station itself gets you to a lot of places around London via the tube. By less than 10 minutes out of the Thames link side of the station, I mean; turn right walk to the end (very short), turn left (at the pub) walk to the cross roads (cross the road), turn right and walk straight and yotel is there. Would definitely stay again."

"I was hesitant to book here but the reviews were so good I took a shot - and boy did it pay off. 10/10 no notes! Brilliant hotel, nice quiet location but stones throw from Fleet St and 2 tube stations. Rooms are compact but very nice to stay in, modern and accommodating. Air-conditioning was a GOD SEND given the heatwave. Staff excellent and attentive. Can't wait to recommend and come back!"

The rooms are quite spacious for central London. My only feedback was overall maintenance, some of the finish was starting to look tired."

"The hotel is very centrally located. It doesn’t have many amenities. Visited during the summer heat wave of 2026, and it was extremely hot. The property doesn’t have air conditioning, and the best they can do is provide fans. It was a good place to sleep, but it didn’t offer much more than that. It was a good deal."

"The check in machine was not user friendly and I’m comfortable with tech. It took a few tries to get to the last step but the keys wouldn’t activate so we still had to speak to an employee. This is the first time I’ve checked into a hotel without showing ID. The person who helped get our keys didn’t tell us anything about the hotel like we’re used to. The beds were comfortable and the location was great!"
