Located in the heart of the historic district, we walked everywhere. Onsite parking allowed us to park the car and forget it for a few days. Accommodations were perfect, nice room with modern, tiled shower, balcony on upper level with a porch swing. Comfortable bed and great attention to details by providing extras like a welcoming glass of wine upon arrival, cookies and water/softdrinks. Enjoyed breakfast every morning on the front porch.

Our stay at the carriage way inn was just the vacation we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The on-site parking, location and proximity to restaurants and historic sites made it a comfortable walkable vacation. We enjoyed the delicious homemade breakfast and the daily afternoon fresh baked cookies. Our room, the amethyst, was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed the privacy and courtyard however we found the tub shower a bit of a challenge as we are older and not as agile as we once were. All said we highly recommend the carriage way inn.

Wonderful staff. The breakfast was outstanding. Great amenities, water, cookies, toiletries, everything in abundance. Its a charming house, extremely easier to walk everywhere.

We loved our stay at Carriage Way Inn! It’s walking distance to all the main attractions and restaurants. The staff were warm, friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfy! We enjoyed all the little touches that made it so welcoming. The breakfast each morning was delicious! Definitely recommend this Inn for your stay!

The location was excellent. The employees were courteous. Loved the outside patio and the parking space. It was very quiet and relaxing. Our bed was quite comfortable. Loved we had all the water and beverages we wanted at anytime. The cons were some of the furniture and accessories were run down. I noticed the rugs in the lobby and stairs needed to be replaced. There was not to much to select for breakfast. The room was quite small with no closet for our clothes. The showers belonging to other rooms could clearly be heard from our room. This is difficult when it is late at nite. There was also noise from the street but calmed down late in the evening. All and all it was nice experience!

The staff were very nice and helpful. The Amethyst Room was comfortable and had a large deep bathtub. The entry area to the room needs some upkeep.

We really enjoyed this location. The staff member who checked us in was the friendliest of everyone that we interacted with at the bed and breakfast. She made a lot of great recommendations and always acknowledged us. The room was absolutely adorable and comfortable. The breakfast was well made and we loved having refreshments and cookies stocked up. We would definitely stay here again as it was in walking distance to everything we did.

Very centrally located! We spent most time walking around the historical district. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. And there were so many little touches that made it memorable.

Loved the location! The inn was very nice and hospitable, with free tea, coffee, bottled water and wine available day and night. Breakfasts were excellent. Only downside was our bed was very uncomfortable. We would pick a room other than Peridot if we go back!

We had an amazing experience. It felt like going back in time. Beautiful historical place. Bed and room was so comfy. We appreciated the bottled water, amazing breakfasts and even the coffee was amazing. Staff made you feel special. The location was right on. We never took our car anywhere until we left to go home. Restaurants, shops, galleries, George St so close. Walkable to everything. We will be back!!

What a jem! The property and staff are awesome. Made me feel very welcomed. They're attentive and kind. Great for a solo traveler. I felt very safe and comfortable. Breakfast every day has been amazing. They go above and beyond to ensure each guest's needs are met.

I felt so at home. After a long trip, and an experience in three interstate exchanges (10, 295, 95) I was somewhat harried! How nice to hear "Would you glass of wine?" as soon as I walked in! I was celebrating my 39th X 2 birthday alone, so was also provided a bottle of champagne! It's a lovely, comfortable, welcoming place. Staff is so friendly and professional. The breakfasts are delicious. It is a perfect place to stay to explore old St. Augustine. I would love to go back!

Love the location, right in the middle of the historic district. Well maintained property and wonderfully decorated room. Staff were exceptional. Jess greeted us with a glass of wine which we sipped on the balcony before going out for the evening. Enjoyed the great breakfast too. Highly recommend.

Services were excellent. Breakfast was good except not many choices for vegetarian. Room was okay. Cleaning could be better. Staff were very friendly and helpful. When you book room it should describe it is not in main building and it is isolated cottage.

My husband and I stayed at the Carriage Way Bed and Breakfast Inn for our Anniversary and it was a wonderful and personable experience. Staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and informed on all the activities. Loved the afternoon cookies and 24/7 drinks was a nice treat. Breakfast was delicious. Location was perfect. Walked to everything and didn’t have to bother with parking downtown. We’ll be back!

Nice B&B in great location with onsite parking
This is a very nice B&B. We stayed in the Emerald room and it was very spacious with an outside entrance to the private parking which was very nice. The room had a huge bathroom and great shower. It does have a locked door that leads to the kitchen so you can hear them in the morning but that was no issue for us but if you are someone that likes to sleep late a different room could be better. We would book this same room again. The location for St Augustine is perfect. Having parking at the hotel and being able to walk everywhere was perfect. They made recommendations for dinner and that turned out very good.

Lovely Victorian B&B/Inn
Just about everything was great! The staff are very friendly and personable and efficient. The property is a B&B/Inn, not a hotel or motel. They provide complimentary wine, water, coffee, cookies, etc., and the breakfast is homemade and delicious. It was built in the late 19th century and is furnished very nicely to that period. The only thing: rooms are cozy. Bathroom is cozy. Be careful of tight corners to avoid banging your shins, as I did.
