"We arrived late and the staff were a wonderful help. The hotel is very modern and clean and located along the harbour with a great boardwalk to stretch the legs after a long drive. The kids enjoyed Cold Rock ice cream a 5 min max stroll from the hotel. We grabbed some Thai takeaway too but could easily have opted for something on the room service menu. The pool has a great slide for the kids and a small playground. A short drive up the road/20 minute walk and you’re at Newcastle Beach with the amazing ocean baths. There is a beautiful scenic walk along the coast with a kiosk right on the beach selling food and coffee. Wish we had more time to explore but we were only stopping over for the night. Super comfy bed and pillows. "

"Not impressed. Wine glasses had wine stains from previous guests upon arrival. Glitch in system meant we didn’t get the room service we ordered because staff already went home for the night. Parking for valet was not clear at all. No pool or spa facility."
