"This was a wonderful hotel, Nice and clean, quiet even though it was close to the Interstate. We enjoyed the fitness room and the breakfast was good. "

"There were pry marks on the exterior side of the door to our room, the bedding had old stains, the room smelled of mildew, the fridge didnt work even after being plugged in. The room was small and therl outlets were few. Sometimes you get what you pay for, but the room was not mutch cheapet than the other hotels in the surrounding area. The bed was firmer than I would like but tolerable and the shower head was tall enough for a 6' tall person, but I would not stay here again."

"1 Star – Predatory Fees, Religious Discrimination, Zero Accountability Hotel Ruby in Spokane charged me a $22 "entertainment fee" , a thinly veiled alcohol charge from their bar, without disclosing it anywhere in my reservation. When I checked in and explicitly told the front desk agent that I do not drink alcohol for religious reasons and would not accept the charge, he looked me in the eye and told me it was policy. End of discussion. That's not policy. That's forcing a charge on a guest for something they don't want, didn't use, and objected to on religious grounds. I then contacted Expedia three separate times to dispute the charge. Each agent offered sympathy, vague promises to "email the property manager," and one even tried to buy my silence with a $50 credit toward a future booking, as if I'd ever book through them again. No refund was issued. No one took responsibility. Expedia's final answer was essentially: the hotel won't budge, so good luck. Let's be clear, Expedia failed to disclose mandatory fees at the time of booking, failed to advocate for their customer, and then had the audacity to suggest I use a discount credit on a future reservation. There won't be one. This isn't a misunderstanding. It's deceptive billing, and both Hotel Ruby and Expedia own it equally. Stay somewhere that respects its guests."

"The hotel was clean and updated. The front desk staff were not friendly, or at least one of them wasn’t. For a nice hotel, they should be more welcoming. The area is beautiful but you do need to walk at least 15 min to get to restaurants, so if the weather is bad you’d need to have a car or Uber."

"We had issues with house keeping. We had to do everything ourselves. Take out trash, ect. "

"Staff and property are good quality for the price. The only thing I would mention is at the pool- it can definitely use a bit more cleaning and attention. The three times we visited the pool. There were little to no towels available. Although I did see staff, trying to keep up with the demand. I did see staff picking up towels trying to get them washed. However, the towels were definitely thin, worn and not enough available. "
