「We arrived very late & the access was very dark & the path to the basement was dark & I almost fell into the pool with my large suitcase. It was hard getting the luggage down the stairs. Also the noise levels scared me only because there is only an accordion type door that separates the basement area from the main house I didn't feel all that safe, maybe if I had my husband with me I wouldn't have felt this way, the bedroom doors couldn't lock so I slept with the lights on & the waste basket...

"As a continental breakfast, the variety was actually quite good. Unfortunately, the hotel really needs a better chef—the potatoes were mushy and burnt, sausages took 30 minutes to come out, the eggs were overcooked, and the toaster setting was too long, leaving the bread burnt. The room itself was decent, but check-in was a nightmare. We waited nearly an hour because of poor communication between the hotel and EXPEDIA. Even though we had already paid, the hotel almost charged us again. Too many issues overall. The only real highlight was the swimming pool, which our child absolutely loved"
