The location was good. Instructions were helpful and clear. The beds were comfortable and clean. They were kind to give us an early check in and an extra half hour to check out. The floor was sticky. The shower curtain was on a plastic rod that fell down multiple times and we had to put it back together. There was a strong smell of mold that did not go away even with the window open and the air purifier on. The air conditioner worked well, but we had to wake up to turn if back on throughout the night as we were unsure how to make it stay on.
O noise from street was horrible. Sounded like people were in your room. Orbitz showed laundry. There was none. Owner claimed he had no control of what was advertised.
The location is excellent, however the noise from being right in the middle of it all makes it very hard to sleep.
The whole area has a bad sewage smell but the inside of the small apartment smelt terrible. It was a bad musty odour that not even half a can of disinfectant could get rid of. There’s a mold issue in the bathroom that needs to be fixed. I think it need more ventilation.
I wouldn’t stay here again

Clean but noisy
Very central and nicely priced. Clean.
However, the room is right next to the street and the wall is paper thin, so it was hard to sleep. Every time someone passed by outside, it seemed as they were passing through our room. Some double/heavier curtains might have helped.
I've been traveling extensively for over 10 years for both business and personal reasons across North and South America as well as Europe. I've never felt compelled to write a review before — but this time, I’m making an exception.
The place I stayed at is listed as a three-star hotel on Hotels.com, but in reality, it doesn’t even come close. At best, it’s a budget stopover for a high school group trying to save money on a field trip. Realistically, it deserves one star at most — and that’s being generous.
Here’s why:
It is not a hotel. It’s essentially two cramped rooms with a couple of beds, a kitchenette, and a bathroom squeezed in. The space was dark and poorly ventilated, though to be fair, there was working air conditioning.
The furnishings and equipment were a mismatched collection of old furniture and appliances. It felt more like someone’s forgotten basement than any form of hospitality business.
The photos on Hotels.com were not representative of the unit I stayed in. I suspect they are a curated collection of the best angles from various units the owner manages — but not the one I got.
The check-in process was unprofessional and uncomfortable. I was asked to send a photo of my passport via WhatsApp, followed by a request for a tourist tax payment to be sent through services like Wise or PayPal. The assumption was that everyone uses these platforms. When I tried calling the listed contact number, no one answered — and all communication continued through WhatsA
