"The location was exceptional. On the surface, the accommodations were nice: Our room was large and quiet (which was especially nice given their location). However, there we several issues that arose:
-Internet was down, and remained iffy for the duration (they put a router in the hallway to help with the signal which was largely ineffective).
-It rained very hard one night, and water flooded in from the balcony. It apparently was a known issue as the flooring was peeling up and was "water logged" in some locations.
-A similar issue existed in the bathroom as the shower sprayed out on to the bathroom floor, leading to floor issues. There was a broken window that popped out of the frame when trying to open it.
-Staff/service was very inconsistent. Just one example: we asked for ice and one employee said that they didn't have any and that we'd have to find it in town. Another said that they had some and would provide it (from a neighboring property).
For the price, I would have expected a better experience. Most of my score is based on the ideal location, so if you don't mind some issues along the way, this would be a good location."
