Nice hotel. Conveniently located. The spaces were very clean. Within walking distance you will find many good dining options. Breakfast was ok, but nothing exceptional. As a guest you will receive access pass to a fitness facility located in a building a couple of meters down the road. The staff was friendly.

Very nice design boutique hotel with nice breakfast, walking distance to the train station. My only dislike is the sound proofing as the customer above my floor was walking about all the way till 1am and again by 7am. Because of the wooden flooring one can hear the aound clearly. Should carpet it to reduce the sound.

The view here is unbeatable and we really enjoyed the breakfast. It was so convenient to order breakfast at the cafe downstairs and have it brought to us on the patio or their beautiful dining area. Some things we wished were different—we were here in mid August and it was so hot and there is no AC. I read another review that someone asked for a fan so we didn’t do that until the third night. Since we had to open the windows for any air flow, a lot of bugs flew in. It was a bit loud due to the open windows, we were on the street side and sometimes you can hear people walking by and talking loudly. It seemed like whoever was staying above us were chatting on their balcony til late in the night. We would probably stay again but wished we had asked for a fan sooner but if they had AC, it would make a world of difference since we could then close windows and not be woken by the outside noise.

What a gem!
We stayed four nights here and loved every minute. It is a short walk downhill from the train station, located just off the main street of the town, so it's lovely and quiet. It's close to Migros and Coop as well as restaurants. We were warmly welcomed upon check in, our room was ready early, but we were encouraged to take our time and enjoy our complimentary local wine. The rooms are well appointed, no air con though, and a coffee maker, kettle and bar fridge are on each floor for your use. The rear of the hotel has spectacular views to Lake Thun and the castle. Breakfast is amazing: Berry smoothie or apple juice, yoghurt with fresh fruit, granola and mixed berries, lovely fresh breads or croissants with jamon and a different cheese each day, tea, coffee or hot chocolate. The snacks and lunch menus are quite innovative too. It is truly a delightful place and the staff is amazing. Very highly recommended.

Great location for the property with the train station connecting to Interlaken, Bern and Thun. The town of Spiez is incredibly beautiful too. Ferry port just a few minutes walk away as well with a picturesque cruise over lake Thun. As for the hotel, the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, with advice on sights to experience in the area. Very nice clean rooms too, also love that the bottles of water at the end of the hall was free to people staying. Price for this time of year considering the location was reasonable too, I would definitely recommend to anybody think to stay here

Highly recommending!
Everything about the hotel was amazing! Free water provided by the restaurant, free coffee by nespresso machine and tea available. We got lucky and even got some free croisant and sweet in the evening that were left by the hotel staff for no food waste. All the staffs were friendly and helpful. 5-10 mins walk from the train station, great location if you want to catch train to Zermatt, Interlaken, or to Milano. Spiez is a beautiful small town that's quiet, not touristy. I found Interlaken too much touristy... you can't experience local. *The only disappointment about this hotel is that there was no air condotioner which we didn't need because we travelled in June and cool air from the window was enough*

Excellent hotel in quaint setting!!
We arrived late due to a flight delay but the staff was very accommodating and had a packet ready for us to check in. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the cafe was so nice and delicious. Beautiful views and close to sights and train station. The staff was fantastic... Kind, friendly, and very helpful in suggesting things to do. Highly recommend and would stay here again, especially when I can stay longer

A 10/10 place to stay in Spiez. We had the panorama double room and was perfect. You’ll be able to walk down to all of the attractions by the lake in minutes while taking in the breathtaking scenery. Best part of the experience was how generous and welcoming the staff were. We will miss this place!

This was a very lovely, clean and safe hotel. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The cafe and meals were delicious. The view was breathtaking. The hotel was close to the train station, restaurants, shops, and not far from the bay where you could take boat rides. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Memorable view from the room along with excellent service. Breakfast was great also. There was an Italian restaurant next door, Pizzaria Bellavista which was one of the bests as well.

With views of the mountains and lake Spiez is itself a beautiful place. It is also well-connected if, like me, you are travelling by train. The hotel made this a very convenient, comfortable and successful stop-over with a special commendation for the breakfast.

This is quite a „catch“ in the tourist town of Spiez! The staff reached out to us in a friendly manner. It also made us realize how much better Hotel Sonne in Schwarzenburg COULD be! We will certainly recommend La Bell Vue boutique hotel!

This place is a gem. The staff are friendly & go above & beyond expectations at every turn. The Panoramic Apartment with balcony & lake view is airy & tranquil with breathtaking views of the lake & surrounding mountains. the room wasn't very clean and the bathroom was moldy. I booked the panoramic double room and my room was on the first floor with a terrace that was actually directly connected to the main public terrace of the hotel so i had people on my terrace next to the windows of my rooms every day. the room didn't have any privacy. I also had to keep the blinds shut at all times despite the beautiful views because anyone could access the terrace and see inside my room. so I booked a room with a view for nothing.

Disappointing as I overlooked that there’s no fridge and kettle in the room. Room is small. We have to walk out of the room to the corridor to use the kettle. The filter water at the corridor was not topped up within the day though we can bring down to cafe to have it filled up during cafe operating hours. Kettle is also very dirty with what I believed is limestones or calcium from the hundreds times of boiling. You can see the residue floating on the water in the kettle. Hot should ensure it’s cleaned or changed periodically. I had to wash it myself so that we can boil and drink clean water. We booked for 2A2C but only 3pairs of slippers provided. Beds were not very clean. But the rest of the daily housekeeping is satisfactory. Room has a nice view of the lake but was uncomfortable as the family room we booked opens balcony to a shared terrace where anyone else can actually access. Paid CHF338/night which I feel is abit pricey for the amenities provided. But receptionist Deborah is nice and polite. We dined at the hotel for dinner and food is exceptional good! Staff (a man whom we mistook as the chef) who served us was friendly and attentive too! Worth a try! Dinner only available from Thurs-Sat. Hence, the staff and view of the hotel makes it an overall pleasant stay.

Pro: The view from this hotel is stunning!! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We really appreciated a bottle of water waiting for us. It was a quick ~5 min walk from the train station (keep in mind there is a steep hill). Also, the breakfast in the restaurant was amazing. Con: We did not realize the elevator would not be working, so we carried luggage up 3 flights. The check-in instructions were also unclear. We arrived around 9pm, but the desk/restaurant were closed and we did not receive a code to open the door. Luckily, another guest happened to walk into the hotel and let us in, where our keys were waiting for us in an envelope.

Pristine rooms and wonderful beds with fine linen. This was a great discovery. And breakfast is to die for, we made our own selection from the beautifully presented and fresh selection. The staff were lovely, friendly and professional. The Boutique Hotel is situated off the main thoroughfare but within easy walking distance from the lakeside or the station. Ideal base to discover the Lake Thun or even Brienzersee area.

Lovely boutique hotel / cafe
It was a lovely boutique hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The cafe had delicious food - salad, breakfast, coffee. The hotel had a lovely view from the dining area and the outdoor lounge. We liked that it was centrally located, close to the train station and the boat station. It was also comfortable, clean and has the essential amenities. The only thing that could be better would be the pillows, which were a little flat. We would return again.

Overall, a great hotel. It has been recently renovated and the rooms are stylishly decorated. The staff were extremely friendly and provided a welcome drink on arrival. Breakfast was great, served with a fantastic view over the lake. Would recommend and very happily stay again!

A local boutique gem with very friendly owners and staff. Cozy and spacious rooms with balcony perfect for enjoying the sunsets over the lake and mountains. Close location to wonderfully charming beach next to a castle with stunning views.
